As much as I hate to say this, I believe you are correct on the Oregon pick.  As a cardinals fan myself, I know that we are not good on the road, and tend to get colder and colder, as the years progress.  And I don't know what it is.  The lack of same sided cheers and hoorays?  Bad team chemistry, due to nerves being tangled?  I don't know.  All I know is that we don't play with confidence on the road. 

I really like this Oregon team.  Great team chemistry, followed by great ability to shoot 3's.  Add in the home game factor and you have a winner. 

Stanford will fight hard, but near the end, will give it up.  I simulation that Oregon wins this by 8-10 points.

Don't want to hijack J-Fen's thread - between my bud's J-Fen and Riccio picks most covers members would be hard pressed to lose money if they just read and follow those guys (and heaven forbid began to use similar stats to angles to handicap the games on their own). 

SoCon is one of the conferences I follow closely and the C of C/Wofford game is a toss-up.  At this point of the season it is important to throw out season stats and begin to look more closely at: their last 5 games, any conference games from this season, and what happened in last seasons matchups if there isn't significant roster turnover or coaching change.  Over their last 5 games, Wofford's guards have really improved.  They are only committing 11 turnovers per game and have an assist to turnover ratio of 1.29.  They are also shooting 3's more effeciently while C of C has struggled in 3-point defense over their last 5 games.  Also, C of C uses the 3's point shot and free throws as the main sources of their points, and again, over their last five games - Wofford has limited their opponents 3-point ATTEMPTS (more reliable stat than percentage in this case) and aren't sending their opponents to the line very often. 

From a strictly stats/angles standpoint, C of C is worth a 1-unit play and there is value at the current line, but for me its a stay away as I can see this game playing out many different ways and I actually like how Wofford matches up in the game tonight (and please understand that I have cashed with C of C all season long so I'm being as objective as possible with this mini-writeup). 

Unfortunately, life happens sometimes and I can't put in the time necessary to do writeups and post plays, I don't feel bad to the 98% of crybabies and jerks on this site but for the 2% of solid posters and lurkers that understand that we are all in this together, I'm sorry to not help more.  But if you look closely around this site you will see the influence of my old-school giant writeup, stats-based analysis with some of the posters and hopefully most should know the "types" of plays I would be in favor of (aka Citadel +12 tonight comes to mind as Texas Tech +11.5 did last night).  

Why don't you keep that shit private!

Totally understand that the real world beckons.  You don't have time for good write-ups and would rather write nothing than half-assed write-ups you're not happy with. I get that.

But why not just share your picks w/ no write-ups at all? I think you've garnered enough rep where people would be appreciative of that.

BTW, the crybabies and jerks may seem like 98% but are probably more like the 10%, but just more vocal.  Most of the thread views are probably lurkers that just want input from respected cappers when they decide their games.  Well, that's what I try to do. I try to be thankful w/ my comments, but I bet there's a silent majority out there.
