Saturday big card

UNC PK  2 units.  Notre Dame is starting to crack, losing 4 out of the last 5, including at home to Virginia by 15

K State -3.  2 units.  Texas doesn't win in Kansas and the Wildcats only lost by 2 in Texas.  Revenge game.

Vanderbilt +1.  1 unit.  Vandy can hold its own at home.

ASU -2.5  1 unit.  Never mind the Oregon State game, a win is a win.  They'll get another here.

SMU -3.  4 units.  I love what the Bearcats have done but it comes to an end here.  SMU has been been just blasting even quality teams at home.

Oklahoma -4.5  2 units.  Another team crushing at home.  Baylor in disarray.

Wichita -5.  1 unit.  Steamroller/train continues.  I think at this point, the Mo Valley conference WANTS the Shockers to go undefeated.

CSUN -3.5  1 unit.  CSUN has played respectably against good teams, Fullerton not so much.  Home team.

Long Beach +5.  1 unit.  8-5 since Lamb was eligible.

Adding:

Duquesne -2  1 unit  GM is terrible this year.  0 for everything in conference

Memphis -4.  2 units.  Gonzaga about to play a slightly more talented team than they are used to.  this isnt Pepperdine or Portland...on the road.

Mississippi -2  2 units.  Missou is done this year.  Have been meh on the road.

St Bonaventure -3 2 units.  Bonnies are a tough out at home.  Just beat UMASS there.

Minnesota -4  1 unit.  I know they're stumbling but Indiana isnt much better.  Rebound here.

Utah State -2.  1 unit.  Utah State owns this series.  Rough stretch of losses making the line low.

Creighton -2.5 1 unit.  Ok Lavin, get back to the big game choke artist I know you to be.

Penn State -3. 1 unit.  Illini are in complete disarray.  Lions at least playing well for pride.

Michigan State +3. 1 unit.  Not too many opportunities to take the Spartans as a dog.

Houston -2.5. 1 unit.  Houston's string of losses at least has to be taken in context.  The last 5 were a murderers row of Louisville, Memphis, SMU, at Rutgers and at UCONN.  OOOF.

23-22-2 over the last week or so.  Not spectacular but +5.3 units.

10-5 on big bets though for +6.8 units.  If Lavin hadn't killed me on my 4 unit bet vs Providence,..Id have done some damage this week.

Without updating everything, looks like on big bets Im hitting 60-35 so far this year.  63%.  Treading water on the 1 units. 120-110.

Overall now 180-145-10 for +45.1 units 55%.

Hugh and dacooler - thanks.  

The past 4 Saturdays I've done damage followed by a Sunday behind beat.

Hopefully, the 4 plays today can break that tradition.

Nice self jinx.  Still considering past Sundays, I'll take 2-2 for -.2 units.

Thanks for the encouragement Polar.  5 weeks left, lets see if I can keep this Grind above 55-56%

Iowa State -2.  1 unit.  Wary of this one.  WV a flip at home.  Hoping a less raucous crowd lends itself to a road win for the Cyclones

Virginia -11.  1 unit.  Maryland shaky on the road and Virginia has put down some talent at home including NC by 15, FSU by 12, and Wake by 23.  Ooof.

25-24-2 over the last week for +1.8 units.

Missed the Cal 2 unit loss and the Canisus losses though in my running total

Week breakdown:

15-18-1 on 1 u -4.8u
9-5-1 on 2 u +7u
0-0 on 3u
1-1 on 4u -.4u

So true updated overalls are:

182-147-10 for +41.6 units 55%

122-111 in one unit bets -.1u
49-27 2 unit +38.6
3-3 3 unit -.9
8-5 4 unit +10
0-1 6 unit -6

Not stellar but that 2-7 day, I lost 4 games by half a point and it was still positive.

worthbob - thanks for the advice and encouragement.

Thanks on the advice to look at the K State pick.  At first I was wary of the fact Kansas has just owned them recently but K State has punked Texas, OK, Ok State, and Ole Miss at home.  I'll take K State +4.  1 unit.

Also adding Florida State -5.  1 unit.  Miami having a lackluster year, Florida State still in it to make the tourney.  Just more at stake for them.

Texas -4. 4 units.  No Marcus, no chance.  Texas is tough enough at home.  The best player out handicap isn't going to help.

Ohio State -3.5. 1 unit.  Home team in a big rivalry game?  Yes please.

Colorado State -4. 2 units.  Tough home team, Utah State shaky on the road. 

Waiting for Wyoming to get to +5 or 6.

Florida -1.5. 2 units.  Florida playing flawless ball at home and more importantly in this situation, on the road.  Tennessee this year has lost to NC State and Texas A and M at home.  Just too much for the Vols.

Worthbob - no need to shout. Ha.  Without Smart playing, Texas is a tough place to play.  Problem is Holmes being doubtful now - definitely puts my bet into question now.

Clemson....maybe at +5.5 or 6. Nothing less.

Florida - just a Mack truck here.  Not saying its going to be easy but they should pull it out.

Polar - Florida has the talent and has won it's last 3 SEC games on the road.  Well see...

How the HELL is Mississippi GETTING 4 points here?  Sure the last two road losses looked bad but they were at Kentucky and at Tennessee,  Miss +4  2 units.

Seton Hall -1.5  1 unit.  While Marquette has owned the series lately, Marquette with its 2-6 road record isnt impressing me.  Line low enough to take the home team.
