Those percentages are meh but no negative overall so at least its a positive hobby.

Last two seasons:

2011 142-137 51% +14.3 units.
2012 175-167-5 for +13.3 units.

Can I break the 350 play barrier this year?  Ha.

Probably not.  Lets see if I can eek out a 52.5% or something by focusing on quality lines.

College basketball is a daily grind just like Major League Baseball. Take it slow or you will lose your bankroll early.

CFB doing OK, NFL treading water, so need CBB to take an uptick this go round.

Same as you on CFB and NFL, I feel like CBB is easier though so let's break the books together! I'll be doing a lot of Big Ten, hopefully you can give me some PAC-12 tips! Good luck this season!

I can tell you right now UCLAs back court is shaky and Colorado will be underrated on name recognition again.  For instance, Kansas plays in Boulder Dec 7th - will be looking for a high line and fading Kansas.

I think you can do better than 53 %.  In my mind I've already won 60%.

Here we go....

FGCC +1.5 3 units.  So they lost their coach, not to worry - Kansas assistant of ten years Joe Dooley steps in.  AND they return all but one key starter.  Doubt they go to the Elite Eight again but Nebraska is a Big Ten bottom feeder.  Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Nebraska fans show up to see FGCC.  Betting with confidence here,

Kansas State -12,  1 unit.  Kansas State is used to blowing out the likes of Texas and Oklahoma State at home.  Northern Colorado is used to being cannon fodder for someone's opening night  Win win.

UCLA -9.  1 unit.  These are the games Alford excels at and how he won 75% of them at New Mexico.  Tourney time different story but Bruins have looked great in two preseason matches winning by 30 each time.  Last year they would have been nail biters.  Drexel cant keep up the scoring pace.

Actually, Im going to have the ganas to double down at +3.  3 more units after reading this:

The parting of ways with Tyrance wasn’t the only major announcement regarding a Husker.

On Wednesday, Miles announced that the team will also have to play Friday’s opener without senior Ray Gallegos, who was suspended for two games for behavioral issues . The guard joins Deverell Biggs on the bench, who was suspended for three games this year for violating team rules last season.

Could be a very profitable opening day...

Going to add San Diego -3.5.  1 unit.  Thanks to daviddaman24 for the tip on this one.  Wolters being out should be too much, Torreos have decent backcourt this year.

What a nightmare.

Well, in traditional form, I start the year way in the hole!  Next year I'm going to blast everyone with my fade me special.

1-3 for the opening night for...-7.8 units.

Thats what I get for doubling down against the line...

Just one today.  LaSalle -6.  2 units.  Same team as last year that went deep in the tourney.

BYU +5.5.  BYU's Tyler Haws should keep it close.  1 unit.

Michigan State -3.  2 units.  Upper vs underclassmen all day.

Kansas +5.5  1 unit.  Wiggins is worth more than that plus Self needs to get the Duke monkey off his back.

Pacific -2.  1 unit.  Why so much love for Irvine?  Line has moved from -4 to -2.  Pacific balls at home and they have two star seniors returning.

USC -5.  1 unit.  OK they should be able to take care of Northridge....

Think this Duke team is the team to beat this year. And this is coming from somebody who hates duke. Seems like a lot of points to take Kansas but is fully justified. GL this year

Hey, every year I make myself a huge hole to crawl out of, so you could be right.

Adding West Virginia under 151.  1 unit.  Im hoping this is less all whistle all the time than LSU UMASS.

VV, I agree with you. They seem to already be up to full speed. (and I hate them as well)

I have a very large play on Duke as I just think they are currently the better team.
