Sunday Cliff Notes: Iowa gets its first test of the season, and not sure matchups will favor this game to up-tempo like Iowa wants it to be. I think Creighton will be able to handle the press effectively, thus slowing the pace. This is not a home game for Iowa, it's played at Wells Fargo Arena. I'm playing any offense I think is better than UAB, hence the Murray State play. Coach Prohm has had ties to the state of Alabama for years, so familiarity is there, and he's a bit more of an offensive coach than Kennedy was, which should help Murray State this year. UAB faces a much better defense than what they saw in their season opening loss as well. I think I've pretty much said about all I can say about the lack of offense between WKU and VCU. The only thing that scares me here is these two teams play each other again on Wednesday, and when you get that back-to-back matchups, you sometimes get a coach who will switch some things up and not show everything. Still, morning game, bad offenses, I can't avoid this. Speaking of being unable to avoid spots, this is probably the dumbest bet of the year backing a Loyola CHI team on the tail end of a four game road trip. But, this is one of those rare times that I see a matchup advantage at all five spots on the floor. In addition, Furman's offense is really bad. They lost all of the shooters and scorers from last year's squad, and they really have no replacements. The problem with Loyola CHI on this roadtrip is that they've faced teams who get into the passing lanes up the line and haven't really got good attempts at the basket. Furman's never been a team to do that. They'll play what I call a 'sagging' defense and play that type of 'the farther out you shoot the better. So technically, I'm expecting Loyola CHI's offense to look decent today even in game 4 of the roady, because they'll be playing something they have yet to face this year. On the flip side, Loyola CHI pretty much employs the same style. They force a ton of outside shots and force you out on the perimeter, and with Moser being an assistant for Majerus the past few years, defending the 3 is strength #1 in that system. Again, just the styles of play that run into one another here was just too much to avoid for me. I hate hate hate hate hate the situational spot, but Furman's going to have to hit an amazing percentage from the perimeter for this one to lose, and I just can't see it happening.
3* Loyola CHI +1.5
1* Murray State +5.5
1* Creighton/Iowa Under 142
1* WKU/VCU Under 134
Leans: (St. Joseph's +3, Washington State PK, Purdue/Alabama Under 129)

Can someone possibly explain to me how Houston Baptist at Cal State
Fullerton makes the CBB Betting Card but Holy Cross at Fairfield
doesn't..? Holy Cross waxed Boston College by 22. Fairfield won the
MAAC last year and is predicted to be a possible at-large bid candidate
for the NCAA tourney. It makes no sense sometimes which games are left
off the betting card.
Any comments or knowledge on this fellas...?

Nice win on the Under... I lost 2 bets on it cause the line dropped to 131. Feel sick to be honest. Down 7.3 units already today after 2 games. The line movement made me lose. You are the King NRopp.
