1* Western Carolina Catamounts -1.5
Samford is on their second straight road game, and have lost 5 of their last 6. They did win the first matchup on their home floor, so this is also a revenge spot for Western, who has put back to back wins together for the first time since Thanksgiving, the latter of those wins is over conference leader ETSU at their place. Cats gotta feel good about themselves right now, and will hold a distinct advantage on the blocks and glass.
1* Sacred Heart Pioneers +6.5
Another revenge angle here, but also, when they played the first time @ SH, Anquan Hill did not play in that game. He's their best player on both ends of the floor and I think makes a big difference for this Pios squad. Since he's been back, they are 5-2, winners of 5 straight. Merrimack is the cream of the MAAC, with their last win over other contender St Pete, but that was a week ago. They've been hearing about how big of a win that was for a week now, and SH is gonna come into their place and punch them in the mouth. I'll sprinkle the ML on this one.
1* Alabama Crimson Tide +8.5
Florida has won the last four meetings, but UF has never been more gettable for the Tide. Bama has the better guards, and lots of them. They attack the basket so well, that foul trouble for the Gators is a real possibility, and they aren't deep at all. Golden lets his guys play with foul trouble, and against the athletes that Bama has that could be a very bad decision. I'll be playing this ML as well.
1* Minnesota Golden Gophers -1.5
Not a real fan of laying points on the road in the Big Ten, but Penn St stinks. 0-10 in conference and not all that competitive. Minnesota hasn't been great, but you can see Nico Medved starting to leave his mark on this team. They just took Whisky to the end at the Kohl Center, took Ohio St to OT on their floor, only lost by 10 @ Illinois, and were within one possession of beating USC and Whisky at home. They've been getting better every night out, and Cade Tyson is starting to become a familiar name in the conference.
1* TCU Horned Frogs -1.5
The Buffs started off conference play at 2-0, but have since dropped 6 straight. Three of those games were in Boulder. What was once a feared place to play, the CU Events Center has lost its shine, as the Buffs have struggled the last couple of seasons at home. TCU is road tested. They just won @ Baylor, lost by a bucket @ Utah, lost by 6 at BYU and took KU to OT at the Phog. Since conference play started, Colorado can't stop anyone, so the Frogs should get whatever they please.
1* East Carolina Pirates +10.5
This line opened at 12.5, took all the money on FAU, and came down two points. No today Satan.

1* Niagara Purple Eagles +8.5
Paulus has his guys still fighting despite being second to last in the conference. They just took Siena, Sacred Heart and Fairfield to the buzzer, losing all three by a possession, the last two, but a point each. Marist plays really good defense, but have been wobbly as of late. Took OT to get by Canisius on Friday, only beat Quinny by 7 before that, and lost the two prior to that! This likely gets a sprinkle on the ML too.
1* Northern Kentucky/Oakland Over 166.5
In the first meeting the total was set at 164, and came in under at 159. But neither team shot the ball well, at all. NKU was 6-26 from 3, and Oakland slightly better at 6-18. Both offenses are more than capable, and love to run. Both defenses are....mehhhhh. KenPom has this at 169.
1* Illinois Fightin' Illini +2
Revenge spot for Coach Underwood and his Europeans. Keaton Wagler has come on as one of the top freshmen in the country, these long Euros can shoot and defend the rim very well. This isn't the same Illinois team that Nebraska beat back in mid December. Plus the Huskers are coming off their first loss of the year. How do they respond to that? Espcially it being a tight game, that was taxing, vs a top tier opponent.
1* Oregon Ducks +10.5
Oregons terrible, but I can't pass up a double digit home dog in the Big Ten, whose opponent is traveling 3/4 across the country, to play at a tempo that doesn't lead to blow out wins. I mean, this Iowa team only beat Rutgers by 6 in Iowa City.

Great work Heels!! Me and the GF ate and drink all weekend after that Sacred Heart ML win at Quinny lol. She hates my betting except when we hit the jackpot lol. As for FAU, makes me think Kanaan Carlyle isn't playing, in which case I think E. Carolina can easily cover. Uncanny how we're on the exact same page on most of these plays, though I am steering clear of Oregon who seemed to have pretty much quit on their season with Biddle and Shelstad and others out. Poor ol' Dana. ![]()
