Haven’t posted in this forum in quite awhile. This is a play that I’m posting so we can all get paid. In the first game these two teams played, Hall had a 15 pt lead in the second half and gave it away to take an L. I’m pretty confident that the coaches and players are still reeling from letting that happen. Hall are the 15th most experienced team in the country, Jonnie’s are the 35th. I love taking teams that should’ve won the first game but , lost and get to play that same team again but, now we’re at home getting valued pts and we’re the older team with a very smart HC. St. John’s opened - 5 pts, that dropped to - 4.5 almost immediately and now it’s down to - 4 on several books. The public is not shifting this line movement believe me they’re not . Hall’s defense is ranked anywhere between 12th & 13th nationally. St. John’s are an excellent defensive team as well but, on the road they rank 83rd , while allowing 17.3 pts per 100 possessions. Hall are 9-1 as a dog this season ATS. Hall needs this game a lot more than St. John’s. They want to get into the tournament, whereas the Jonnie’s are already in. Hall grab 37% of their missed shots ranking 18th @ home , whereas the Jonnie’s grab 33.7 % ( 37th ) away from home. Those extra possessions along with this experienced well coached team made me make this a XL play. Again. DBPR St. John’s rates @ 2.44875 overall defensively , where Hall rates @ 2.5675 overall. These numbers are based on a neutral court folks. This metric is huge. Okay on offense, ST. John’s are definitely better on a neutral court , but tonight Hall will have the advantage offensively as well. Jonnie’s average scoring margin away is + 3.2 , which is good , but Halls average score margin @ home is + 8.1, which is great ! Average score margin on defense, Jonnie’s - 3.2 , whereas Hall beats their opponents by - 8.1 pts per game @ home. Last 3 games, Jonnie’s efficiency rates @ 0.975, Halls is higher @ 1.002. On defense floor % ( paint ) Jonnie’s away from home rates @ 49.1% , whereas Halls rates @ 43.0 %, which is huge. This play is a no brainer, win or lose, I’m taking Hall + 4.5 4400/4000 GL to all on Hall tonight.
