This may be irrelevant, but tenn is 4-1 SU vs memphis in the last 5 games.  I got this information from sbrforum on the matchup section.

This may be a young tenn team, but the idea is flying in the back of my head as "what if tenn wins" 

 

Memphis may be pissed off and out to kill tenn, but knowing that tenn is 4-1 SU in the last 5 games, make's me wonder...

Thoughts?

People see a rank # beside Memphis and go buck wild especially after the loss yesterday. Spread opened at -2.5 for a reason. I think it will be a close game.

irrelevant. memphis made up of a bunch of soph's and tenn all new team new coach, no idea about the last 5 years or so.

It very well could be a good game and probably will be.  It is an in state rivalray after all.  Too many times meaningless stats get thrown in.  Tennessee, you said, is 4-1 in its last 5 meetings with Mem against the spread.  So what?  These are two totally different sets of rosters compared to previous years.  That's an irrelevant stat.

This my be irrelevant, but I've shaved my balls 4 out of the last 5 Fridays.  I got this information from my journal under the ball shaving section.

This may be an ok practice, but the idea is flying in the back of my head "what if I slice my cock"

I may have done good so far, but knowing I might slit my scrotum, makes me wonder if Memphis will cover.

Thoughts?

one of the best cappers on this forum has a play on tenn +4,END OF STORY,also the vol's coach probably hurts tenny's street cred,i think in a few more years-he will be one of the big names in hoops-dude can coach.i am riding with KGC  on the vols.

Hi guys. I live here in Knoxville and follow the Vols very close. Yes it is true Tennessee kicked the Memphis Tigers ass on a regular basis. That was unser Pearl though. The hype is dead here in K town. It's nothing like it was under Pearl. We can't even sell tickets for home games. I haven't heard nearly as much about this matchup as I did under Pearl. It's big for recruting, but the excitement is gone. For what it's worth, I think Memphis is the play.

For those of you that watched Memphis yesterday you saw a Michigan team slow down the pace. Memphis was faced to play a slow down game. Today Memphis will be able to run. Just look at Tennessee! Do you think they can get up and down with Memphis??

Memphis offensive RB per game .......  29 ...........ranked 326
Tennessee defensive RB per game .... 29 .......... ranked 101

Tennessee offensive RB per game ..... 37 .......... ranked 157
Memphis defensive RB per game ....... 37 .......... ranked 320

The boards will decide this game and Tennessee has a strong upper edge there.

Guys I'm TELLING you. Look at the talent difference here. I'ts not even close. Where is Bruce?? No where to be found! In the past you would not believe the hype. Bruce picked at Memphis and laughed in their face. Now in stumbles the new guy!! What a treat for Memphis.  LOL.. So go ahead and take Tennessee. Who will score??  Someone said rebounding edge?? this is Maui and strange things can and do happen on Maui.  might be an in state rival, but both clubs could be on vacation here. one year  in the islands,  mighty Virginia with Ralph Sampson got upset by Chaminade.  I believe they were either on their way back or going to Japan for an exhibition game and got derailed.  all things considered, throw out records.
