SDSU @ Cal (YTD: 10-7 +16.9 Units)

1-0 unposted on SDSU games this year.

I think they win by 8 tomorrow night. this is our best team EVER in the history of SDSU. I'm an alumni so I've been a fan. Team is led by seniors (Billy White) has been huge and Leonard our only sophmore in the lineup whom I believe will be drafted in the NBA. We moved up to # 15 and we should be undefeated going to mid January.

I only see this line going up...it's currently at -4.

BandwWB & Sharpstick, curious on your thoughts as you follow MWC pretty closely as well?

I was just looking at this game and I like SDST too.
What keeps coming up in my head is that Cal got a whopping 5 points in the 1st half vs Notre Dame then followed it up with an abysmal 15 points in the 2nd half their next game vs a horrible BC team.
SDSt is a senior ladened team while Cal has one senior and is made up of mostly freshmen and sophomores. I'll be shopping for the best line.

This is a big one for SDSU, i'm also an Aztecs fan and just hoping they don't stub their toe tonight. On paper they are clearly the better team and as you said if they get past Cal they'll easily be looking at 17-0 to start the year and sitting in the top 10.

Cal is very tough at home.  And they have beaten Temple and New Mexico already.  Montgomery is a solid coach and has them playing very good D.  Their O is less predictable.  It could go either way.  I will probably leave it alone.

I see the SDSU game similar to the Gonzaga game earlier this year. I forgot what was said, but I believe Gonzaga only lost a couple of times since they opened that arena at home and SDSU was breaking a huge trend.

I'm just scared the refs makes this 1-4 point victory for the Aztecs.

Got it at -3.5 last night.  Cal plays great at home traditionally but they are just completely outmatched here.

I totally agree with that.Cal has a few loses over the past 2-3 seasons and with all the home advantage that college basketball has..
Who knows,ML on Cal could be the play.

You know I'm on it.  We are laying pts on the road, and there are no guarantees.  What I love about this team is that they don't need to shoot well to win.  So going on the road doesn't scare me much.  Also, their calm, poised play at Gonzaga, experience...I could go on - lets just say that if they played 10 times, I think SDS covers 7.

SDSU just has too much for Cal. Literally this team has everything. Solid big men, good shooters, a solid steady PG, great coach, good depth. I don't see them losing more then 4-5 games all season.
