It's the stupid system of 2 games at same site with 1 ticket purchase. Each fan base gets a stack of tickets for their fans -so each game has about 1/4 of the fans either pre-partying in the parking lot (no alcohol sold inside at NCAA sponsored event, unless luxury box) or leaving early after their team played. Split it up so full attendance.

Yeah, I know...the losing teams sell their tickets to the scalpers...looks like this year theirs nobody buying.

That used to be the system -- no more -- no re-entry. Hence - less people in the stands

No re-entry? No, not talking about re-entry...I'm talking about after the losing teams (like Memphis and Purdue on Thursday in Glendale) fans head out of the arena they sell their 2nd Session tickets to scalpers. Fans who get tickets get them for both the Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday sessions...if their team loses on Thursday or Friday they're most likely just going home and not going to use their tickets for Saturday or Sunday.
