Friars up 20 at the half, laying 4.....win by 3 (-$220)
Bruins up 14 at the half, Have them ML and catching 1.5, lose by 2 (-$400)...shoulda laid the +1.5
$1,260 swing for me.....we move on and find another winner


As for you 'fixers' stop gambling or find the fix and let all the rest of us know the play....

I feel ya cuz had Udub ml lost by 1 still 4-1 for the day though can't complain. Was with you on xavier, but had ML.

Doesn't stop me from gambling, and I don't complain about losing a potentially fixed game, but if you're going to be a gambler you should have a thorough understanding of the industry and how it operates.  While not all games are being fixed (not even close) the fact of the matter is games are being fixed everyday in every sport.
 
Do you realize it's not illegal for a league such as the NBA or NFL to fix a game?  Perfectly 100% legal as long as they are not bribing anyone.  The leagues themselves are fixing games to feature certain star players and produce matchups that will engender high television ratings, not to mention games being manipulated by the gambling industry.  It is what it is, but to pretend it doesn't happen is simply beyond naïve.

Just get a kick out of the guys that cry it when a game doesn't go their way. I will slightly disagree that it happens as often as you think it may.

I agree wholeheartedly..ie. Pats-9 at Indy this NFL season. Pats were up I believe by 15 or so kill-n em the whole game. Then in the last minute or so of the game Indy had the ball. I had it recorded on my TiVo. Replayed that last series by Indy. NE linebackers looked like WWF , weren't even trying..you could see it as clear as day..phoney as a $3 bill. Like you said Jimmy..not all games are being fixed( not even close) but there are games that are being fixed and with a keen eye.. you can tell a few of them that  are

Not feeling this discussion either about games being rigged. If you had the winner and caught a massive break I doubt many will admit it was setup and just be happy they won pick your spots don't play every game without doing your homework.
