Waiting for 5Dimes to post lines. These leans are taken from current Bookmaker numbers:
Current Leans:
Detroit +4 (Moultrie?), BYU -2.5, Fordham +12.5, Temple +5.5, Southern Miss -3, Denver -3.5, Bowling Green +19, Youngstown -1.5
Temple is probably my favorite as of now. More work to be done before finalizing.
As far as the VileCats-SJU game, I won't be betting it. I already have too much emotion and pride invested in the game. But if anyone wants to see a truly wild atmosphere, tune in tomorrow night at 8:00 on CBS College Sports. I promise you will see one of the best college basketball environments of the year.

Denver line likely goes up further. Not sure on Temple. I'd love to get +6, but it could easily go the other way. YSU is a bit of a mystery as they're not exactly the type of team with whom I'd like to lay road chalk, but I'm convinced Toledo is an abberration.

Detroit is a definite play if MSU doesn't have Moultrie. Sidney can only play 20-23 minutes a game and there wouldn't be anyone to handle Holman inside.
Bowling Green is more likely to be a first half play as I've watched for 2 years as Sparty struggles with inferior non-conference competition at home in the first half before pulling away in the second. BG is a veteran ballclub that forces tons of turnovers and protects the ball well. That's a nice combination heading into East Lansing.
Still no 5Dimes lines. Oh well, out for the night. Will have to lock in tomorrow most likely.

I'm actually liking the over more than the side after looking at Denver. Just because they play a slow pace everyone assumes they are a great defensive team. I believe the Broncos will try to push the tempo as Iona was able to do. Denver is not near the defensive team that LSU is.
Youngstown St. is the second best team Toledo has played after Temple

Hey Bro, have fun Saturday night. Nothing like a huge game on campus. I miss those days!!!
Noticed your lean on BYU, Interesting game... Can't get a true read on Bears since only 2 of 8 games have been lined. I watched in dismay last Sat when BYU couldn't throw ball in ocean 1st half vs Utah. Another half like that and they are doomed. Losing Rogers hurts bad, 6th man averaging 10 pts/game and best outside shooter. However, UCLA transfer Carlino finally becomes eligible after sitting out all of last year. Article in Provo paper is calling him the next Jimmer (ouch), but its hard to imagine he will have that much impact in his first game.
Cougs are 95-5 at the Marriott Center under Rose. Tough call...

Train, I like Fordham for a few reasons. St. John's is really a mess right now, especially losing Lindsey. Fordham beat them last year and this is actually a fairly heated NYC rivalry. No revenge factor for the Johnnies since none of these guys were on campus last year. Plus, I don't think St. John's has any answer for Chris Gaston. He might go for 25 and 10.

Very experienced team with terrific guard play going against an extremely young Texas team that has played an awful schedule thus far. The 'Horns have played two decent teams (NC State and Oregon State) and lost both games. Neither of those squads plays defense the way Temple does, and I suspect the Texas transition game is going to be stifled by Dunphy and company. Temple has very little size inside with Michael Eric injured, but Texas doesn't have anyone capable of exposing that weakness.
