I'm glad I teased the longhorns to -9, buying 2.5. Guess I should have bought that last half a point to make it -8.5.
To those of you who visit this thread after the game (which many don't):
I'm sorry for the bad pick and I hope you didn't follow me today. They shud've covered, but thus is the idea of gambling. You win sum, you lose sum. I flipped a coin that hits 75% of the time heads and bet on it. Well it ended up in the 25% category.
I take my picks and analysis very seriously and, though I actually made money tonight due to Notre Dame and somebody talking me into pressing it on the 1st half line of Texas, I hate being wrong in this forum. I may be new to posting my research and analysis, but this is worse than lossing part of my bankroll. I hate being wrong.
I'm now 2-2 on Covers.com and am not happy. I've put up hours on hours worth of frickin write-ups to help you guys out, but 2-2 is not going to make anybody money but the books and the almighty Vegas.
I lost money on my 3rd pick that I posted on Covers.com, but it wasn't the losing of money that I hated, it was being wrong that bugged the crap out of me.
I don't like being wrong in anything in life. Sorry guys.

Win some, lose some... don't sweat it. Everyday life of a gambler. I understand your frustration. When one feels so compelled and right about a side and it loses, it is rather mind boggling and disheartening.
