But San Fran's sloppy, undisciplined, uptempo style is just what the doctor ordered on this 3rd straight home game, while the Dons take to the road for the 3rd straight time. No shame in losing to Gonzaga, St. Mary's, BYU, and Marymount over the last few games. San Fran got their asses handed to them by some of those teams as well.
Santa Clara +3 and ML +125
Hope your games are winners,too.

You do know that Kevin Foster (17.8 PPG, 28% of possessions) is out, right?
He and his 37% shooting pct. which drags the rest of the team down to 40% ? He missed the last game, too, and he's not coming back. This has been factored into the line.

Foster’s shooting percentages of 42/37/80 hide just how good a shooter he really is. Last season he led the nation with 380 three-pointers attempted. Andrew Goudelock of Charleston finished second with 322 attempts, and third was The Jimmer at 313. Nobody else cracked 300. That means every game Foster was taking two extra three-pointers above and beyond everyone else in the country, and those two were, by definition, tougher shots. And he still shot 37 percent. Foster took over 200 two-point attempts, shooting just 42 percent, and his effective field goal percentage was
above 50 anyway. The only 2011 underclassmen to carry as heavy a load of their offense (31 percent) were Lehigh sophomore C.J. McCollum, Colorado sophomore Alec Burks, Central Michigan freshman Trey Zeigler, and Cal State Bakersfield sophomore Stephon Carter. Only Burks was more efficient.
The bread-and-butter of Foster’s game is the threepoint shot. He’s not especially ball-needy as a point guard; oftentimes, he’ll drop it off and spot up or run through screens. He’s certainly most dangerous when he can find himself an open shot. In addition to his scoring effectiveness, Foster was one of the better passers in the West Coast Conference. His creative side comes out when the Broncos set picks for him -- that’s when he becomes a great asset on the penetrateand-kick.
On the other end Foster’s solid. He’s quick and strong enough to get through screens and stay with his man. That said, he can definitely be caught paying too much attention to the ball and giving shooters too much space.
Foster will get a couple cracks at national exposure before March. If he lights up Gonzaga, you may be hearing his name from somewhere else.

San Fran ranks near the top in both STPG and ST/TO ratio. I wouldn't call that sloppy. All five starters returned for the Dons this season. Santa Clara lost a WCC player of the year candidate in Foster. great spot for San Fran to cover on the road. just my thoughts
