Getting this one early to get things rolling for a big Saturday:
Louisiana Ragin Cajuns -2.5: Not exactly the day's marquee matchup between two teams from different conferences with NETs over 300, but we'll always take value over entertainment. Louisiana has been coming around of late with 3 straight wins to get them to 6-6 in conference play. They like to play at a very methodical pace and I expect them to largely be able to impose that style at home ... on a court nobody on this Central Michigan team has probably seen in their young lives. The Chips do not travel well at all with 11 losses in as many road games. Gonna hold my nose and hope the Cajuns grind out a 63-57 type win here. 0.5 units.

South Dakota +10.5: The big South Dakota rivalry going down late today in Brookings. South Dakota, with their high-octane offence, is actually ahead of big brother in the Summit standings. Think the Rabbits probably pull out the win at home but 10.5 points in my pocket in such an intense rivalry game is too much to resist. 0.5 units on the 'Yotes.

Montana -2.5: Coming off a disappointing home loss to Eastern Wash., think the Grizz come out fired up to salvage the home split on a pretty short number against Idaho. No question Idaho will be looking to avenge an earlier home loss to Montana and to salvage a split of their two-game trip to the Montana schools, but do like the Grizzlies to scrap out a 5-7 point win at home to keep their hopes of a top-2 Big Sky finish alive. 0.5 units.
