Oh no, I'll respond.  Apparently you didn't read my answer (or didn't understand it) so I'll help you out again.

Yeah, I lost on the under.  You won on the over.  Congratulations.  It won't last long.  You keep making picks because "something looks to low" and you're going to f**k yourself hard in the long run.  Don't believe me please...most people like yourself have to learn by lesson, not by other given examples.

You'll lose.  You'll lose bad.  You will feel embarrassed and ask yourself questions like "why didn't I just study this pick instead of making a broad assumption?"  You'll say "sheesh, I shouldn't have bet all of that money when there are more important things to worry about."

Not sure what crawled up your butt bro, but I cant agree with you. I took the U116.5 for the game, but there is no way in hell I would take an U52.5 1st h. All it takes is for 1 team to get to 27, and with the world knowing GTown sucks it would be easy to assume a low scoring 1st h is coming, but this Pitt team is not the same Pitt team as the last few years.....

And yes, I'm an a**hole.  A synonym used for the term a**hole is realist, or opportunist.

I didn't insult your family, I insulted a handicapped way that you live your life.  Because that is life.  People that use expressions like "that is way too low" so I must bet it, are the ones with tendencies to gamble with money they don't have, or they are too young and immature to understand the concept of true "handicapping."

Right, Train, they are different.  About 16% shooting difference from 2008 into present day.  They don't have a consistent shooter on the team.  Obviously tonight they leaked out of that funk (at least 1st half.)

But if you are following this team the entire year as me, it is too hard to ever think they will score even 37 points against a defensive-strategy team like Georgetown.  This is a team that went a combined 8 of 36 from 3 point in last two games (Rutgers/Cincy).  This is a team with its top 3 scorers (Woodall, Patterson and Robinson) shooting a combined 15 of 50 in last two games.  15 of 50, Train.  That is ridiculous.  I figured Dixon to come out and go defense first and sort of scrap the whole motion concept (WHICH DID HAPPEN) until the refs came into play.  The refs easily scrapped up the tempo that was being set at that 17-7 point.

I lost that under, but it was the right play.  Given Pitt's offensive numbers alone, and no established shooter, it was the right play.

Congrats to those who won that 1st half.  I am on 2nd half under as well. 

Train, the wildcard with any Pitt team is ball screens.

They are absolutely destroying Georgetown in the half court with ball screens.  Zanna, Adams are making a lethal combination getting these guards open off the dribble for wide-open looks.

So, I never took that into account tonight.  Because in the past, Pitt has predominately attacked Georgetown's defense with solid screening from the top of the key.

That and the refs absolutely destroyed my under.  Georgetown adapting somewhat better with a double team approach and a drop off of the big man from the top of the key to cover the cutters/corral rebounds.  Also, the opening up to a full-court trap really slowing this Pitt team down.

I'm assuming that is JT3 surrendering to open looks and focusing on tired shots, giving them one look a possession.

It is a better chemistry for you to cover that full game under.  Something I should have done to begin with.

I didnt play the 1st h under simply because there was no room for error at 52.5. A couple 3's or some early fouling with these 2 teams can mean free throws while the refs try to clean the game up. It was easy for me to leave alone at that number.

They don't know how to comeback running a lousy half court Princeton look as that is.  No Austin Freeman's coming off the bench for these guys to speed it up and make something happen.

Besides, how could you even want to keep playing when you got guys like Durand Johnson spinning right off ANOTHER ball screen and wide open at the top of the key for a 3?  I mean f**k it at that point, right?  Just accept that you can't stop these guys in the half court.  Pretty pathetic.  Looking forward to them not being ranked again this year.
