Best game of the season all year for every D1 school. Cream of the crop boys this is going to be a great game to watch. You want to learn how to play defense, offense, rebound, coaching, whatever this is the game to watch take notes cause PITT is going to put on a clinic. We know what both teams can do so i am not really going to go into that.
No Dyson is huge for this one! It may not have shown against SH but it will against one of the most balanced teams in the country. Thabeet will patrol the paint but Mr Blair is very crafty and will use his body to make Thabeet get in trouble early. PITT you Senior boys came back for a reason and this is the game to make that statement. I am still waiting to see that LeVance Fields player that hits big shot when called upon like last year. Is tonight the night will he be the difference i think so. The guy is one of my top 3 point guards in America and he will prove why tonight. His basketball IQ is amazing. This is a huge game for both teams as the potential number 1 seed is up for grabs. But when your missing a valuable asset its going to be tough to get the job done even at home. I understand PITT has lost at NOVA and at LOU but this win here will wash both of those losses IMO. FT shooting is a wash because they are both horrid IMO.
Lets revert back to what JIM B did with MICH absolutely stellar! Managed the clock well on each possession mixed up the D's and really frustrated UCONN. Now throw this in with a much deeper (deeper than UCONN) team and a more athletic PITT and this is a recipe for a frustrated UCONN team. Road team is 7-3 ATS. PITT is a perfect 6-0 ATS when the total is set between 133-139.5. But all in all i think this game come down to Fields hitting the big shots when presented. Mondays have horrid for me but i would take a look with DRIZZLE cause he will have one hell of a write-up on this game.
