Creighton at Missouri State

On the surface this looks to be a Missouri Valley mismatch with the 1st place Bluejays (23-6, 12-5) taking on the conference cellar dwelling Bears (11-7, 3-13). Appearances can be deceiving, though.

For openers, Creighton is just 6-12 SU on this court and 6-12 ATS as conference road chalk when playing off a win against an opponent also off a win (Missouri State upset Tennessee-Martin as 8-point road dogs in a Bracket Buster game over the weekend).

To further complicate matters, the Bears are an eye-popping 16-2 SU and 12-6 ATS on this floor when playing off a SU underdog win in their last game. With the Bluebirds eyeing up 2nd place Illinois State (22-6, 11-5) in its season ending finale at home on Saturday, expect a bump in the road for Creighton here tonight.

CREIGHTON -6

Creighton beat SMS by 24 earlier this month, Creighton is playing for 1st place in the MVC, SMS #3 leading scorer (Spencer Laurie) is out, he is also #3 in in assists and #2 in 3 pt percentage.

SMS has won 3 games in the MVC. Pomeroy rank #178

Creighton has won 12 games in MVC.  Pomeroy rank #52

OK let me be a critic here for a moment of why you can't trust these guys and dumb stats.

Past trends are good to use but come on now telling me a game against an out of conference is more important here .  Also past teams of Missouri State where alot better than this year so your point is

Ok this could be a valid point in a look ahead on Saturday but that is 4 days away also not enough trends that matter here what about history trend of series 9-0 ATS last 9 in series  What about Creighton being 9-3 ATS on the Road this year and Missouri St being 3-9 ATS YTD at Home   See this is the reason why you don't let these fucks get you off of a play.  Not me sorry

on a different note i looked at that cuse game and i am gonna be on cuse  big, and also on lsu. think the line for cuse is short because of their history of playing close games.  thanks for the heads up on cuse and lsu.  gonna look more into nebraska and see whats up with  the diego line that one will be more about fading the public if the price is right.

  • Bluejays are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite of 0.5-6.5.
  • Bluejays are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 0.5-6.5.
  • Bluejays are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win.

    like that ohio state matchup too pimp, the fact that ohio state has beaten penn state the last ten times they played.  gonna look at the movement on that line as well, think 5.5 is a little low for a home team that has dominated another.  maybe im overthinking it

    I wasn't being sarcastic, I was agreeing with your reasoning on the jays. I dont see them having any letdown/look ahead top the bottom dwellers of the conference.

    Honestly I like Penn St and the under tomorrow don't always look at past history trends look at ATS last 5 and put your play in a certain situation and see if you think they can pull it out for you.  Got to think this is one of the worst Ohio St teams in years and Penn St D will keep the game close.

    pimp  i can see the creighton line being shady, can creighton really cover 10 in a row? i mean damn you dont see that often.  and as im typing this i look at insights and see 95 percent already on creighton lol.  ohio state line is going backwards with the maj on them
