i met a guy in a club once in biloxi! he told me that in meridian miss. they have actual bookie joints you can just walk into and place bets. dont have to know anyone or anything. just walk in give cash, write it down, they stamp and give you ticket. if it wins you give them the ticket and they pay cash right there

I've heard of that but Meridian is a good 3 - 3.5 drive for me.  I'll fly to Vegas before I make a trip to place a wager at some sketch-ass joint.
