gfunk - this was posted by oddsbuster in his thread about the ND game. thought you might find it helpful, i sure did. GL
I would'nt go to big IMO teh main reason i past it by so far was that Cincy is a very athletic team something that the Irish is not as they only do as good as Harngody plays (and he plays no defense). I'm accually thinking about playing Cincy now that im looking at it as they shiuld be able to do what they want in the post. Just an FYI that during the Harangody era just when you think they would turn it around and you think theirs some value with them they prove to you how bad they are. I can understand why people would see value either way in this game though but in my case i lean with the more athletic and more disaplined team as I can't stand watching my money ride on ND and that sloppy defense that they play
If anyone this UC is a 'disciplined team' you're sorely mistaken. I love in Cincinnati and am a Xavier fan, but watch UC play often. They are VERY undisciplined and perpetually under acheive. Mick Cronin has so much talent on that roster, but they never seem to put it together.
I was at the ND Cincy game at Cincy and it was pretty obvious that ND was the better team. Buttttt, they got out rebounded 50-31, probably the main reason for the loss.
I'll be on ND tonight -3, but I'd tread lightly if you decide to take Cincy in this game..

"This is a different Cincinnati team than the one the Irish faced on Jan. 16. An ankle injury suffered by 6-foot-5 freshman Lance Stephenson precipitated a shakeup in the backcourt that led to the emergence of two more freshmen.
Six-foot-three freshman Jaquon Parker started against South Florida and scored 15 points with five assists in the 78-70 victory over the Bulls on Jan. 20. Four days later, 6-foot-0 Cashmere Wright - - who did not play in the game against the Irish - - scored 12 points in 19 minutes of action against Louisville. In Cincinnati’s next game against Providence, Wright started, played 30 minutes, scored 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from three-point range, grabbed four rebounds and handed out five assists in a four-point victory."
i think i'm off this one. was going to make a small play on ND but am overthinking it. GL

anybody have any thoughts on USC/Cal game??? And does anyone know what the line opened at???? USC -1 right now, and im liking that. All for the simple fact that USC ranked 82 overall and Cal ranked 42 overall. Home team favorites ranked higher than opponent have came through a lot this year. Also like UC river over CS northridge.

How little we forget that a few nights ago, we had a proclamation of "this has game of the year shit written all over it" for NC State and the game wasn't even close.
I'd love to challenge this guy to a picks contest. 5 picks a night for one week. It'd be complete domination
