Good luck today UNC. Had your Sycamores yesterday, I really like the way that team keeps fighting.  Down to 8 guys, but eight guys with very large hearts.  BOL

since unc is up 206U and not something like 350U, and no one seems to acct for the juice when they post their YTD net units.  and being +206U is really only like being up 20U bc he never does 1U or 2U plays, id like to see what his actual $$$ is like over the CBB season.

who cares???  He's putting in his picks and giving his results, either you follow it or you don't.  What's the difference if he's up $100 or $1000 no one is forcing you to read his stuff. 

So what it really comes down to is your jealous he gets a ton of hits everyday and you're trying to make him out to be an average capper.  Well you know what, if he is just an average capper, then don't "lurk".

Hey buddy,why don't you get of the man's dick and let his results speak for themselves.He is more than capable to voice his own replies.You comnstantly criticize anybody who goes against his picks or questions them. Damn SteveShane I dont know what type of juice you pay for a bet but you need a new bookie if youre paying almost 90% on your bets.  What fucking math school did you go to.  If hes up 60 games over 500 and up 206 units how do you figure he'd almost be even!!!

People can be really stupid.  Instead of "lurking"...get a life.  Buy a book or take some classes.  Obviously math and sports betting is not your thing.

Without fail, any capper that has success and some recognition on this site it becomes a magnet for all this crap...

you guys don't need to point out what he and the tailers lost yesterday, i'm sure they are very much aware of it....and please don't tell me you do it out of concern for the people that follow his plays - thats such bullshit - 

nobody can go 5-2 everyday...

plus if your betting 1 unit per game and your up 20 units that is a great record. Since when is being up 20 times your usual wager anything but great?

Those who care and just bet UNC picks this weekend. You lost 67.5 units which most people bet a 100 a units counting juice your down  $7425. 
 
For those people who blindly follow anyone deserve to lose but the best advice is gather as much info on a game and make your own decsions. Then come sunday you wont have so much anger towards a guy who does his OWN homework.

I show UNCF at 215-156, 58%, +43 units at one unit per play.  That is outstanding for that many plays.  However, I've been doing this for 51 years, and, IMO, money management is every bit as important as handicapping.  I prefer to bet a smaller % of my bankroll than most as 90% overestimate their %.  Believe me, over thousands of bets 54% is the best anyone can do, but 54% is good enough to make a living if you manage your bet size.  Good luck to everyone, and thanks to UNCF!

As someone who has been following UNC for several months, I can say he already takes the juice into account when posting his record/units. Take yesterday as a example.

His selections, with results, including -110 juice on all losses:

MARY +10 (10U) - L -11 units

DRAKE +3 (20U) - L -22 units

SLU +5 (5U) - W +5 units

TTECH -1.5 (30U) - L -33 units

XAV +4 (5U) - W +5 units

TULSA -2 (10U) - L -11 units

UTAH +3.5 (2.5U) - W +2.5 units

This adds up to -64.5 units, which granted is a bad day, but everyone has bad days. He started Saturday at +271 units.  That means he should be at +206.5.  And if you look at the first post in this thread you will see that he says he is at +206.5 units, showing he takes the juice into account and is not trying to fool anyone.

i'm trying to figure out where in my thread i said that i blindly tail UNC.  hmmm....oh that's right...i didn't b/c i don't.  if i did then i would be on here bitching about how bad today was and how UNC is a fraud (all things said in his recent threads).

just funny to me how quickly everyone gets negative when SOMEONE ELSE'S picks go cold.  it shouldn't matter if you are making your own decisions.  that's my point...since i don't blindly tail anyone!  So you are actually helping me prove my point...so thank you for that. 

i have never criticized anyone for going against his picks.  i, like a lot of ppl, check the threads of respected cappers to see if their head is where mine is at etc.  if i stick up for them when someone comes in with an uneducated and/or uncalled for comment then that is my choice. 

so the guy had a bad weekend...a bad week...a bad two weeks.  he has proven that he is better than most, and he will bounce back.  and when he does all of these same ppl will be on here praising and thanking him.

Why would you think UNC cares about any of you faceless strangers or your opinions? I like to imagine he started doing this as a gesture of good will because he was pretty confident he could help people make a little cash. I've never seen a post by him indicating he's in it for the glory, or the respect, or any tout shit like that.

Have you considered this cold streak to be a very deliberate action? I also feel he doesn't care much about his record...his POSTED record that is. I mean, cmon, you guys didn't see the fishiness in his card yesterday? And Rutgers today?

It almost feels like hes just weeding out the blind retards to me. IMO, that is just comic genius.

P.S. Sorry if I'm way off-base here UNC. If it's a true cold streak I wish you the BOL on snapping out of it. You're a smart, creative-thinking man and will probably always enjoy long-term success.

on this forum are some good cappers, and i enjoy reading their write ups and look at their picks, and it helps me finding my picks.

BUT,... I've been following UNC threads for quite some time and the man has been nothing but a class act. Always insightful information with a respect for his fellow cappers.

This "thought" that you're mentioning,... IMO,... while most of us would probably follow thru with something along those lines,... UNC would never stoop to that level.
