I think this KU-KSU line is right where it needs to be. There's going
to be a lot of people jumping on KSU judging by what they did at home
to Texas and that's a big mistake. KU is playing it's best basketball
of the season while KSU has kind of drudged it's way thru it's last few
games. Aldrich has a tendency sometimes to struggle with more athletic
bigs, which KSU has, but with the way Marcus Morris has been
playing(which is like a 1st team B12 selection), it takes the pressure
off of Cole to score inside. Regardless of the points Aldrich scores,
he blocks and alters so Many shots that it'll make it difficult for
KSUs undersized bigs to score. Also, KSU thrives off of offensive rebounding, which was a big reason for their win over Texas. KU has the size to keep them off the glass, it just comes down to want on the rebounding side.
Guard wise it should be competitive, but I'm just not sold yet on Clemente. He has a flair for the dramatic and can match hc Martins
intensity, but he's not going to take anyone off the dribble. I'm
amazed he's not called for more push offs bc he seems to extend his
forearm everytime he drives. There may also be some bitterness from
last year when Clemente elbowed Morningstar and also slapped Reed. I
expect Pullen to get his, he tends to play well on the big stage just
like Collins. Collins has also struggled the last few games and Id be
surprised if he didn't play well in this situation.
Overall, I think KSU will have a tough time scoring on this KU team, as
their defense often gets overlooked even though they're second I
believe in fg defense. This is a drastically different team for KU
than took the court at the beginning of the year. Aldrich, Morris and Morningstar have changed the complexion of this team over the last couple weeks and I think they're deserving of the preseason ranking now, where they weren't early on. I really think KU has
the ability to slow KSU down and really open this thing up. KU tends to struggle with teams that run more of a slow-down half court set(Cornell, Michigan, Memphis) and thrive a little more with faster pace teams excluding Tenn. Talent

no Michael beasley on the court tomorrow. KU is 38-2 in the last 40 games in Manhattan. I look for these 2 to trade punches early and then for KU to gradually start build a lead and put it away comfortably after half.

My god do any of you people do your own research? C of C's best player is injured. Since then they have lost their last two games by double figures after starting 7-0 in the conference. They lost to a terrible Davidson team by 17 the other night. That should explain the line.
Yes I do do my own research, I suppose your talking about Jeremy Simmons who is there leading rebounder and there 3rd leading scorer. Considering that Geo Southern doesnt have a player that averages over 5 rebounds a game, they will still be out rebounded by CoC. Consider CoC is a much better offensive team 91st in offensive effiecency vs 291 for Geo Southern. Also considering Geo Southern has not beaten CoC in there last 6 meetings and CoC is 4-2 ATS in the last 6 meetings. And CoC is still averaging 77p/gm over there last 3 without there as you call it best player. O and Geo Southern also lost to Davidson. Thanks try again next time.

At first, I felt like Mizzou -7.5 might be too much, but considering this new info, Mizzou might be worth a look. Same with the Neb, depending on what the line is. OU hadn't left as of last night...they moved the tip-off time back 6 hours, I believe. Not sure about whether Croker and Warren will be back for OU though, they were both out in the last game against iowa St.
