Why the original thoughts on NIA?? SIENA, even traveling, seems like a no brainer if there is such a thing. YEAH the only bad thing about Friday's are the usual lack of College Hoops, everything else works. BOL

UNC thank you it was a no play until I saw that.  WV is going to roll tonight. I have been watching Pitt all season and I think they are on the way out.  Being at home for them makes no difference in this game.  Way too much Pitt love today around here.

Anyways I feel this game is just as important to WVU as it is to PITT. WVU looked awful in their last showing against NOVA and clawed there way back in to lose by 7. I know it was a home game but the defense got them back in it deep in the 2nd half. I expect that type of 2nd half performance to carry over in this one. Nothing would feel better for this WVU group than to pull sweep in the regular season.

The only way I see PITT hanging in this one is going board for board. Most teams that have handled WVU this season has competed with them on the glass. I just dont see it as I dont think PITT is a great rebounding team when going against a good rebounding team.

Huggins has to get a good effort defensively tonight. Something that has been hit and miss all season. Being a huge rival I think we will see it.

Fav has dominated the series in this one also.

I having following your trend for awhile and post occassionally.  I was wondering why you lean pitts originally.  Glad you updated your lean and play.  These were my thoughts, especially the villanova lost factor. 

I am playing wvu.

Good luck tonight I also think WVU is the right pick... All the love pitt actually makes my play for WVU that much stronger.  This may be the wrong thread for this but, I know you were saying under on the Princeton/Columbia game, but I really like Columbia.  Princeton plays possibly the biggest game of the year TOMORROW against Cornell; do you they could look past this columbia team? I could see a 50-45 type game.

What love are you guys talking about? Betting trends right now is 60% on WVU and I see it going up but not that it matters in this close event........even the PITT HOMERS on covers are taking WVU....I know everyone says oh they "just don't match up well"....but come on a healthy pitt team at home? their not last years team by any stretch and I hope they bound the f*ck out of the glass tonight...

UNC I don't claim to be a good ncaab capper by any stretch. (definitely not even close to your level) but I believe the answer to all your questions about the line can be easily answered by the following....

The linesmakers simply do not think Pitt is any good. It has been shown throughout the entire season. They were dogs at home to unranked Ville, pk em home to Gtown when they were ranked higher are just a couple examples. Right or wrong, the linesmakers simply do not believe Pitt is a quality team.

Thank you UNC!! It seems like EVERYONE is on Pitt tonight for some reason. I was at the Coliseum when WVU handled Pitt rather easily a couple weeks ago. They are just flat out a better team. You're right, fave is 12-5-1 ATS last 18 games. 2 of those 5 losses came from Pitt at home when the line was -4.5 and -3. I'm sure then people felt like it was a gift laying such a small number with Pitt just like they feel like it's a gift getting plus points tonight. WVU is the right play, they will have to shoot <40% and Pitt >50 for this one to stay within the number.
