I mean, this thing wasn't even close...Psycho-T didn't even have anything to make a case for the MOP. Lawson was EASILY the BEST of the BEST...hands down! WOW I watched the entire game from start to finish and then left for a couple hours and did not see the ceremonies after the game. This is the first I heard of the news that Ellington won. All I have to say is....

You guys who had Lawson got hosed. I bet these MVP award props quite often but couldn't find a good line on this one so I laid off. I would of been pissed as fck. No doubt Ellington was GREAT but anyone who watched these games knows Lawson was the best player on the court, and it wasn't even close.

I guess I'll post, any sense of racism here is madness. FLAT OUT LAWSON WAS MOP, my friends and i were absolutely confused when Ellington won it ( we r all heelz fans ). This made no sense to us at ALL !!! This vote to us was all Vegas. There is absolutely no way around it ! My condolences to all Lawson backers as you got effed in a major way!

Losing my Lawson bet @ +620 is worse than any poker bad beat I've ever taken and I've been a 98+ percent favorite in hands and lost them.

Lawson was outstanding throughout the tournament.  He should of won it, imo.  This is a subjective point of view and Vegas doesn't want to lose money.  It's just that simple.

its my understanding that MOP is exclusive to Final 4 only...they have a seperate Regional MOP for the tourney before Final 4 begins. Also, that being said, Ellington was sick in both games in the Final 4 and he was sick early on when Carolina was establishing their leads in both games.

yeah Wayne only had 2 points in the 2nd half of the finals against MSU but he was the main reason they got out to the big lead in the 1st half scoring 17...Lawson had 7 steals but was only 1 of 5 from the field in the 1st half (3 of 10 for the game) and pretty much scored all his points from the free throw line going 15 of 18 from the line. I really didn't think he was anything sensational in the final, he was just good enough to win while I thought Ellington brought his dominant game and was the main reason we jumped out to such a huge lead. 

for the most part I agree that Lawson should have gotten it, but I don't think its as obvious of a choice as all of you are making it out to be. not trying to hate on any of you losing money as i get why you're pissed but wayne is deserving in my eyes.
