MSU starting guard Johnson was just announced as will NOT start and may or may not play at all tonight against UK .  Heard it on local radio pregame.

This could be HUGE.

Ordinarily I would be a bit weary of news like this as it always seems that teams, with injured players, step it up....however I don't think MSU has the scoring depth to overcome a loss like this and still match up with the Cats.....

nice nice.. even if he plays 50% he will get eaten by that offense

Kentucky plays better in bigger games (so far this season anyway), I may actually jump on my team - which I VERY VERY rarely do.

Plus Cousins had a big time struggle last game so I look for him to be more than ready to rebound from that.

Plus Wall had 24 last game so maybe his mini-slump is over.

Good luck, Johnson out for MSU seals the deal for me.

Just announced to the media, reported by pre-game crew on UK radio network.  May be a suspension not an injury.  I'll report back if I get a phone call returned from a buddy as I just heard the statement as I turned my radio on and not the whole story.

Just checked UK Cats Pause message board, they say Johnson missed a practice Sunday and is suspended for the game.

I heard radio announcer, not a question in my mind.  Don't blame you for not believing 100% though.

He's out and I'm still not feeling confident about Kentucky winning this. Wall looks terrible.
