Say overrated all you want they meet kansas is sweet 16! Michigan lost to teams like indiana, wisky, osu! Each one of those teams is more physica and better defensively than michigan! Michigan got a good draw and dont have to worry about such a physical team! People would seriously be stupid to take south dakota state! Wathced every michigan game this year and big ten teams overwhelmed them defensively but they where in each GAME!

Michigan wins big firat round!

King im well aware of michigans defensive woes! Problem is south dakota cant play defense either so who u gonna take offensively michigans backcourt or south dakota states? Lihpght buld burke hardaway case closed! Thats why im not concerned they arent play a team like wisky or osu or indiana!

Michigan isn't good away from home. How did Penn State work out? They have a lot of players from last year and lost to Ohio. They're also very weak in the paint.

Yeah i get that but its south dakota state who lost to minnesota by 22 away and michigan beat minnesota at minny!

I have watched Michigan many times this year as well as Kansas and if both play good basketball and take nothing for granted the will meet in the sweet 16 and Michigan will win that game. But depending on who advances in their bracket to the Elite 8 it should be over for Blue at that time.

MTP not trying to be a D*ck...but you need to do some more research buddy...Nate Wolters was a late scratch (rolled his ankle in practice day prior) for the Minnesota game...the 22pt loss is irrelevant (in fact they were down by about 20 at halftime)...South Dakota State has 4 starters that average double figures...this is not an ideal matchup for Michigan

no disrespect but I agree with afdeisel I think South Dakota St +11 easily stays within the number here.Nate Wolters is an outstanding deep shooter and passer all around great player, hes a great team leader really gets his team involved.I would be careful if you play Michigan.Nate brought his team to the tournament I see the Jackrabbits taking this one to the wire .Im from Wisconsin so I follow the big 10 very closely.Michigan has many flaws.They are with no question the most overrated big 10 team in the tournament.I was 9-1 in conference tournaments all posted here so I wouldnt say Im stupid making Jackrabbits a medium play.Im not here to critisize Im here to help as we all should be.BOL

a few things.....

i'm loving the over with SD St

i'm glad Big 10 play is over. We beat Pitt, K St, and NC St before conference play. This team is just not built for Big 10 play, and that's on Beilein. We get killed downlow, on both the boards and points in the paint. Eventually they'll face that again, but I don't see that in SD St or VCU.

I'll probably have VCU taking Michigan out, but I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome. Burke is basically going to have to turn into Glen Rice circa 1989 and just score 20+ a game.

And you first post, we weren't in each game. We got blown out at Michigan St.

Wolters will be held in check. Burke will have him spending his energy on the defensive end. There is a reason this line is 11.

If we see Mich vs VCU second round, caution to VCU backers. Pressuring the best PG in the land with Timmy Jr and Nik Staukas on the backend could be a bad mix for VCU.
