March Madness Early Exits and Surprises.

Starting early… and love to read this type of content…

Curious on what folks think which teams will exit early seeded 1-5, and secondly which teams  will be possible Cinderellas to reach the Sweet 16. 

I’ll start…

Teams seeded 1-5 that won’t make the Sweet 16 - Zags #3, Texas Tech #3, Kansas, Bama, Arkansas…surprise 1 exit- Michigan.

Cinderellas - Miami of Ohio, Belmont…

**don’t get your feelings hurt if your team made my exit list. It’s an eye test only…need to look at some metrics and depends on who they face and the bracket they’re in…

I have 3…Duke, UConn, Zona….

my 4th will can be any of these…Florida, BYU, Virginia, St John’s, Miami…my gut feels like double digit seed will make a Final 4 run… final bracket determines a lot 

Tech without Toppin is gonna be in for it. 

Miami Ohio has played no one and TT wouldnt be a surprised with the injury

I like Miami O a lot. Granted I’ve been sending them tens of thousands of dollars for the last years (2 kids)

 Iowa State is legit final four potential

Don't count out Izzo.

Kohler, Carr , the other starting big ( forgot his name) Ward and my friend's son ( Jordan Scott ).

Solid team..Scott is shooting it finally.

MSU plays tough…like their senior bigs…guard play can hurt them down the stretch imo… Izzo’s composure doesn’t add to the mistakes their young  guards can make…

Florida is red hot right now and have been there before.  I can see them reaching the Final Four.

Alabama imo won't make the sweet 16.  Miami, OH tough to call Cinderella at this point in season, I do love Belmont too.  

I can see Cincinnati surprising alot of people if they can make the tournament.

Ferocious defensive team.

Team has been gelling the last few games as well. That Kansas game was not lucky, that was complete domination by them. Watched them against AZ as well, they played them closer than what the score indicated.

Arkansas could run the table 

Duke to win it all.    Will probably play Zona...  Need a darkhorse for the final 4. It cant be all 1 seeds again. StJohns is a legit darkhorse. Obviously,  we have to wait for the brackets. 

Dont think you can call St Johns a dark horse. They beat UCONN a couple games ago and won 12 straight. Dark horse has to be outside top 25 imo. St Johns is like 15 and gaining ground

Uconn an early out...Iowa St really good. Agree on Fla going very deep.

In my mind, Iowa St has one quality true road win all year - at Purdue in early December.

They lost by 21 at Kansas, by 10 at Cincy, put up 55 points and lost by 7 at TCU and lost by 10 last night at BYU.

Neutral sites aren't true road games, I get it, but they aren't in Ames either is my point.

Iowa St, Purdue and definitely Gonzaga to me are vulnerable.

I could see Texas A&M, St. Johns and maybe Texas making cinderella runs.

Villanova, Miami, Arkansas , NCState ..a few more to monitor.

Have to bet against UConn this time round
