But man,  that's how close it is.  A meaningless missed 3 at the end.

oh well that 2nd half over had no business even being close, just blows my mind you play one way and it's working how you want it (making 3's and the other team is hitting 1 of 2 FT's most attempts) then they make a 3 with lots of time and decide to lay down

no shit.. did they even try and foul? did the refs not let them, did it go out of bounds.. wtf.

I didn't have the game on TV but after that made 3 I had gamecast and it said 47 seconds and it's a 9 pt game...A & M called a TO.  I figured they were setting their defense up for a inbounds steal and if not then they'll foul.  Well Washington had a shot clock violation so I guess A & M just gave up and let them dribble the possession out, although Wash did have a missed layup that I guess didn't hit the rim since there was a shot clock violation.  A couple years ago UNLV was down 10 pts with 30 seconds and came back to send it to OT, I think that shows you if you are within 9 with 17 more seconds don't fucking give up, what kind of message is that showing your kids.

BTW I had over 76.5 VERY BIG..that's why I'm so frustrated

I agree, but what you didn't on see on gamecast was that A&M's leader and senior Derrick Roland snapped his leg in half, everyone was in disgust and a few players were crying.  Their heads just weren't in it after that.

Khenson, i wasn't aware of that...that's terrible to hear.  Well I wish him the best and hope he's able to rehab himself to walk again without any permanant disability.  Even with that being the case I still say that's even more reason to fight to the end and not fight until there's 47 secs left...if they missed that last 3 then I'm fine with running the clock out, but after a made 3 it makes no sense to lay down.

They felt bad for the A&M player Roland who had a terrible leg break.  A&M had no business covering after their senior leader went down. He plays and its a different game A&M was pretty much the better team until that player got hurt.  A&M covers if that player doesnt get hurt but we will never know that.
