Im reading all of the various threads and I cant believe a lot of the posters are looking back at the close games UK had back in November and December (Miami, OH, UCONN, NC, etc.) as part of handicapping this game. Are you kidding me...Do you believe this is the SAME Kentucky team that is playing NOW? I went to UK and have watched every minute of their games this year...the immaturity and inexperience that showed Nov/Dec is gone. UK is peaking right now and it is their defense that is going to win this game. Kentucky has 3 very good guards (Wall, Bledsoe, Miller)who can dribble through the gaps of the 1-3-1 defense and finish by scoring or dishing to Patterson/Cousins for dunks. If you think WV is going to crash the offensive boards and get put back after put back as they did against Washington, then think again. Cousins/Patterson/Orton will control the def boards, get the ball into Wall's hands and its a blur to the basket in which WV has no answer for. I replayed the WV/Washington game this morning and I cant believe no one is talking about WV's 23 turnovers and lack of a point guard. Mazzula Vs. Wall...are you kidding me. Bottom line...Kentucky's defense, size of their big men, and talent will win this game.
This is the good point, simple but the truth is there. I´m with you that this is a different UK team. Have any body see any of the last three games of this teams. Review those games and you will see why this UK team will destroy WV

You make valid points... but I could throw in Tennessee, Alabama, or both Miss. St games as well... 23 turnovers and they still won by DD's. On paper, Kentucky is superior. Also, considering how Kentucky has won the last three games by 25+ points and with the Bryant injury, does -4 seem like a fair line to you?

Special / Tmpeus / Everyone - BOL today. I unfortunately am all over Kentucky. I think Kentucky's poor play against Cornell has everyone skeptical. I expect UK to come out like they did against Wake. Should be a good game.

I dont see how anyone can honestly be comfortable picking a WV team to beat Kentucky. Especially with Bryant out and their leading scorer Butler having a dinged up hand. Kentucky is by far the superior team tonight.
Butler says his hand will be fine, but we all know this game will be physical....If i had to guess the over/under for how many times Butler ends up on the floor after loose balls or failed attempts at getting to the rim it would be 7. His hand wont hold up, his confidence in his shot will be gone along with any chance WV has to win

Look closely... I have WVU +4 for 5 units, and a unit on the ML... if I really thought WVU had that good a chance of winning I would of bet the house on the ML. I think WVU can win... but if they lose by 3, my wallet won't really give a fuck.

I agree that WVU has issues w/depth... but they don't give up that many fouls to begin with because of the 2/3 or 1/3/1 that they play. I also believe that if UK had 3 or more days to prepare for WVU, this would be a better play but I like WVU here on short rest.
