far superior point guards.. are you serious? Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans, Russell Westbrook, Darren Williams, Chris Paul. Those are the best young point guards that come to mind. I fully expect John Wall to join that elite group right away. The only one of those who finishes at the rim like Wall is Westbrook. He has been the projected no. 1 draft pick for 2 years now. He is faster than Rose, faster than Evans, faster than Williams, faster in the open floor than Chris Paul.
OK Dwight Howard, the best center in the world, would be a tough matchup for Cousins. I would love to see it though, and we will soon enough. Going back to the topic of this thread, I will take Cousins over any big man on the Chicago Bulls. 2 years from now he could be right up there with Howard, among the best centers in the world.
And by the way, Kentucky would have been a NIGHTMARE matchup for Duke. I'd like to see Jon Scheyer guard John Wall. They wouldn't get nearly as many open shots against UK as they did against WV. If UK shot anywhere close to their season average in the WV game and did the same against Duke, they would be champs. Do you think they would have played Butler down to final posessions? It would have been a fucking blowout. All of that is debatable and the fact of the matter is they missed their first 20 three's of the game and deserved to lose. But they held WV without a field goal in the entire first half and dominated them on the glass. They weren't heavy favorites to win it all going into that game for no reason.
