If you are a sharp and don't hammer KU at 3.5 you are over-thinking this. Would you rather have KU -3.5 or Kst + 6? Come on. Kstate might cover or even win, but KU wins and covers this game more times than not.

For Kst to cover, something special has to happen or KU has to get in foul trouble. For KU to cover, they just have to play the way they have for the last month.

Baylor - Won by 8

Nebraska - Won by 16

One good game there.  Beating Nebraska by 16 is a good win.  otherwise I don't see them "playing so much better" like people would assume.

Their non-conference home games were junk.  Savannah St., North florida, Missouri Kansas City, Alcorn St., Emporia St??, Texas Southern, Presbyterian and James Madison.

Emporia St.?? is that even Division I basketball??

I like your thoughts there.  I also make my own estimate of what the "margin of victory" (spread) should be and then compare it to the line that is out there.  If it's many points off, then, IMO it's no longer a flip of a coin and more of what I like to call a good bet.

But..... do be careful what you say about other people.  Though some of what you said may seem true, EVERYONE has opinions.  Yes, some people do try to compare records and call others out.  Yes some people try to debunk another man's system of betting.

All I care about is that EVERYONE makes money.  If your sportsbook's taxation is a dime, then you have to win 52.5% of those -110 bets to make money.

If a guy has a system and he's doing good and winning money, MORE POWER to him.  I'm glad.  I may not agree with his system, and I'm sure I won't try it, but if it works for him,......AWESOME.

I'm not a fan of bitching back and forth like a bunch of kids over who gets to play with the toy next.  I WANT OPINIONS, FACTS AND ANALYSIS of the game that the forum topic is about.  I'd suggest that these people who have something to prove go make up a topic in the forum closer to what they are posting about.  I could name a few topic headings for you if you can't think of one.

Give me facts, give me opinions, give me stats, give me eye-tests of the TEAMS that we are betting on (or against), you can throw an opinion in about "trap" games, but don't run on, and on, and on about it.

People come to these forum topic headings FOR THE REASON  that it says.

When they see this bickering back and forth of who's dick is bigger, they leave WITHOUT all the GOOD FACTS, STATS, AND ANALYSIS that is caught INBETWEEN.

Nobody wants to hear two guys measuring their dicks and calling people out.

Here is a secret about betting:  NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK THE BET IS "EASY MONEY", there are variables that can affect ANY game at ANY time.  Rememeber, these teams that we bet on DO NOT PLAY TO COVER A SPREAD; they play to win.

Covering a spread only means that they EXCEEDED VEGAS' EXPECTATIONS.

And with that,....the opposite team did NOT achieve what was expected.

Don't wait until after the game to bring more dick measuring and bickering like little kids.  Cuz saying such things that it's "I hope you come back like you said" will suck when your team doesn't cover.  It's called a foot in your mouth.

NO BET IS FOR SURE.  We may analyze the teams and feel "very confident", but we ALL know, games don't always go the way that we think.  And US, AS HUMANS, have just as many excuses as we have opinions.

If a person DOESN'T feel "very confident" about what they bet on, WHY ARE THEY EVEN BETTING IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?

EVERYONE FEELS CONFIDENT IN THEIR BETS AND EVERYONE WILL LOSE BETS THAT THEY THOUGHT WERE EASY MONEY.

Believe me StinkyPinky, I'm not trying to get under your skin by saying this.  I agree with 95% of what you just posted, but after years of betting there are COUNTLESS lessons to learn.
