Odds makers are gauging PUBLIC OPINION on the game, the only thing they do is post a line that will get 50-50 action on a ballgame so they make their SURE thing (10% on losses)

That's it, that's all they care about, they don't know who's gonna win and they don't care. They want to make a certain profit by posting a number that gets even action on both sides. Don't gamble if you don't know the ABC's and 123's on how this works. Nobody's trying to trick you or trap you. Books don't win when you lose- They win when they get even action on a game, they pay the winners from the losers and charge a fee (10% on losers) for holding everyone money...

Yes, that is precisely what I meant when I put "trap" in my title. You're entitled to your opinion but "trap game" is a common term people can use for questionable lines. I'm not saying there is a secret faction running around making people place stupid bets, but I do believe Vegas misleads bettors with low lines to win.

If you disagree thats fine.

I never claimed to be a genius, but if you're gonna play baseball, you need to know what balls and strikes are- You need to have a basic level of knowledge on how the game works...

While I agree that Vegas isn't setting traps, your statement of "the only thing they do is post a line that will get 50-50 action on a ballgame so they make their SURE thing (10% on losses)" is absolutely wrong. Ask any book and they will give you the real answer. Living off the juice isn't what keeps a book open. Totally old school way of thinking here.

Broncs have taken 3 in a row and 6 of last 7 against the Chipps.  New cast of characters in Mt. Pleasant with little care for history.  I'm taking the Chipps minus 3 and just plain old feelin' good about it.

You don't know what your talking about- Betting moves the line- Not some smart guy in "Vegas" lol
