As much as I tempted to have Illinois ML as a part of a big parlay, something is telling me to stay away.  A la Princeton/Georgetown from a long time ago. 

Illinois has the talent with their second five to win this game BUT.......... how much of a factor will it be that they are in the NIT and NOT the NCAA?  These guys were devestated on Sunday night.  Where are their heads?

i agree with Buff... i don't know why anyone would be feeling confident in Illinois winning this game, let alone covering...

this is the Super Bowl, World Cup and Final Four all wrapped into one for Stonybrook... for Illinois this is a pain in the ass road trip that i guarantee you not one person on that roster is happy to be making... they don't want to play this game, or this tournament for that matter...

there is a very good reason this line is 6.5 or 7 everywhere, despite the fact that everyone knows who Illinois is, and nobody knows who Stonybrook is...

think about it?  imagine Joe Nobody walking into a sportsbook today and looking at the big board...

is he betting on Stonybrook getting a meager 6.5 points?  fuck no!

so why do the books have this line so low?

oh yea?....stony brook is a tough place to play??????

 

how bout the KOHL CENTER.

stony brook at "home"

i don't give a shit how "pumped up" they are to be in the tournament and how "tough" they're gonna play.  bottom line is it's still ILLINOIS and the power of playing in the big ten all season taking on lol..... god dam i have a tough time spitting this out.... stony brook

Christ the magic is a bigger ML tonight vs the spurs.  I think the illini win however would not be shocked if its a battle.

I hope to see stonybrook intensity and the illini D get me my under. Thats what I am playing

Funny stuff tuttle. I understand what you are saying. As down as illini are they did not travel to NY to get their butt whipped. That is why I played the under. Good luck whatever you do tonight

i was kinda kidding with the Uconn womans team, but i would put up 10 grand to say they wouldnt lose by 40 to the worst swac team
