Houston -5 over Texas  ****

 Trying to figure out why UL Laf was only a -8.5 over Tex St yesterday  They beat them 86-68 at San Marcus and was sitting in row 3 courtside. Then the lines yesterday was La laf -8.5 at home  I jumped on it because La Laf was the better team and dominated the entire game in San Marcus . Was up 44-29 at the half. Love Tex st top player was back from his injury. Then the line is Laf -8,5 at home  They already beat Tx st away 86-68 and now have them at home with the line at -8.5  Laf won at home yesterday 66-46  It looks like a trap game but I checked injuries etc and unless Tex St coach makes a few adjustments from last game Ragin Cajins are the better team Anyway not complaining  since I won but was wondering why the line was a double digit line instead of 8.5 pts .. is it trends analytical numbers or what. Is sitting courtside and watching these two teams play each other an advantage. Yes but I lose games like everyone else .. Just wondering why the line was so low when you already beat someone by 20 away and now you have them at home with no injuries etc  When I lived i Marists backyard I think I had an advantage knowing he home team with their strengths and weakness;s   and although I did win a lot more then I lost I still lost some . This year winning big on Tex St games and I should. I know their out of bounds plays ..many times want to tell the coach to make an adjustment on defense and run another offensive play but I sit right behind the visiting coach..  Today Like Houston-7 over Texas and had tickets to the game but already in the doghouse with wife, Taking grandkids to the movies

Yeah I think Houston puts it on them today. Texas plays next to no defense. Texas are the big boys in Texas so Houston wants to really show out. Houston has a ridiculous 1H ATS record. I don’t think Texas will be able to make much of a game if it.

i see some smart people on Texas and I get it.  decent home court advantage at the Moody Center and Texas has a lot of "must win" games on the schedule to make the tournament.  their wins at OU and against Baylor shows they can compete with the big boys.  Houston's losses at TCU and ISU show they can lose on the road.

I cant back Texas since I'm a homer and think Rodney Terry is in over his head.  I expected them to fall apart after the loss to UCF at home, but they rallied so maybe they have some fight in them.  I dunno.  I am rooting for a win here for the Horns but am expecting the worst

Small play Think Coogs D can stop Longhorns offense and Coogs have some mobile gds. love the Coogs pt gd in Snead and Baylor transfer CRyer.. Shead is an Austin kid returning home tonite at Moody. In last 10 games Texas is 6-4 and Coogs are 8-2. This will be the best Defense Texas see;s all year. A small play because both teams have equal talent. Think Sampson is the better coach and his D will slow down Texas which is somewhat inconsistent Very tough game to handicapp . Texas is coming off a whipping from BYU. BYU shot over 64 FG % Think Texas D is going to have a tough time tonite
