$$$$ THREAD CONCEPT - This thread is for all of us to share our expertise with everyone else to benefit the group.

THIS IS NOT A PICKING CONTEST!

PLEASE make special note of this! If you have an area of expertise, please make some $$$$ choices from your area of expertise when you have a game you are confident enough in to call it a "$$$$ PLAY". The difference between a PICK and a $$$$ PLAY is that a PICK is a game you like, a $$$$ PLAY is a game that you KNOW. If you are claiming your choice is a $$$$, and you really have NO true knowledge of that game, then you are just cheating us and posting your PICK just for attention and to see your name on the board.

RULES FOR POSTING - We will not track your $$$$ PLAY if you do not follow these rules. You are welcome to still post your PICK or card, but unless you do the things below, we won't be putting your $$$$ on the spreadsheet.

Only one $$$$  per day and a MAXIMUM of 4 per week. 

A week starts on Mon and ends on Sun.

- No buying points.

- No other "line-manipulations" like teasers, etc.

- No parlays

- No props

- $$$$ PLAYS need to be -129 or lower.  Anything -130 and over, take the -1.5 goals or runs.

- Do not try to cheat on lines. We, as a group, are all over the lines and every time someone gives a stinky spread, it is always called out. If the line is off, the $$$$ doesn't go into the spreadsheet.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE!

You must give an ORIGINAL explanation as to why you KNOW this $$$$ PLAY will win. And don't just "stat" us to death. Tell us about the game. DO NOT COPY YOUR WRITE-UPS! People on this thread are all over the internet and will find your plagiarism. I guarantee it. You can use Last 10, ATS, etc., numbers to support your argument, but stats from a gambling website are not an explanation.

Thank you for your understanding and your help in keeping this thread for the benefit of everybody, not just a place for you to blather out random picks and toot your own horn.

Last night was the Best night for the thread so far.  Looks like a 10-2 night on tracked $$$$'s which is more than effective.

The thread title is supposed to say 

Holmey, what do you have my record at?  Want to make sure the plays I have played were all tracked.  Thanks for all you do.

5-5 $$$$

- No playing ranked team against no rank.  The upset factor
- No playing away teams.  Home crowd is the 6th man factor
- No playing if their ATS record is poorer than opponent
- No Reverse Line Movement factor
- No playing if line is more than 10.  The OT can't cover factor

Harvard Crimson (10-14 overall, 5-12 ATS, 9-8 O/U) vs. Columbia Lions (17-8 overall, 6-8-1 ATS, 10-5 O/U)

I really don't like this one but it will be a force play for a short card today.  Both teams are poor with their ATS but columbia is a tad better, even on the worst side.

Harvard has lost 6 out of 7 previous games SU and 8 of their recent past games, they never cover the spread 0-8 ATS. 
When harvard is a dog, they are 3-6 ATS

On Jan 30th, they have played before and Harvard lost to columbia as a fav by -1.5 and they Lost at home 54 - 55

Harvard has no offense.  They are 311th ranked in the nation in offense and averages about 66 points per game.  They do have defense though at 48th in the country which is impressive. 

Columbia has a better offense ranking 114th and averaging 76 points per game.  Their defense is not too shabby at 116th in the nation. 

The key to watch here is that Harvard can not shoot free throws.  They averages about 58% at the free throw line and that means points take away which then all added up to bite them in the azz when they needed it the most. 

Harvard 2-9 SU when away 2-6 ATS away
Columbia 11-3 SU when at home 2-3-1 ATS at home

Harvard

• 1-5 ATS in their last six on Friday
• 0-6 ATS in their last six after a straight up loss
• 0-6 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss
• 0-8 ATS in their last eight overall

Columbia

• 4-1-1 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss
• 12-5 ATS in their last 17 after a straight up loss

Give me Columbia -7.5 for $$$$

Lots of great golf match ups today. Matsuyama has a really good shot against Rory today and is at +145.  Need to go after stats from first round and will see if I have a play.

yale red hot with a ten wins streak heads down to another Big power house. ivy teams collide tommorow. but this time in Princton and the line is -3  for now yale princton rivalry goes back a few generations whether how many applications or what the graduates became as they left the school both acedmically buisness and politics these colleges atract the best possible canidates in law medicine buisness.

Hey @Bubbaski I know you're a golf guy too so any feedback on this play would be great. Also.... any other Northern Trust plays you like today either inside or outside of the juice limit on this thread?

First time poster here! Just so everyone knows Golf is my go-to sport to bet on. Don’t know much about CBB at all so thanks everyone for all the picks!

The sweed has been playing some great golf as of lately with three top 5 finishes in his last four tournaments including last week at pebble where he was positioned to win on Sunday. The kicker here for me is his putting. Freddie could be the best putter on tour right now and yesterday was no different with young fred putting up a 2.472 SG Putting in the first round. Freddie is also right on the cut line so I expect him to be more strategic today with the driver. On the flip side Si Woo Kim is posting a negative SG putting and doesn’t even crack the top 100 in that stat category this season. Kim also hasn’t broken 70 in his last nine times out on the course. Expect Freddie to come out hot with the putter today and play with some fire so he can keep playing this weekend.

so today play does not count.  Ok i hope I lose so it doesn't count. 

I am not sure if I will be betting the Monmouth Iona game but the first match up was great.  This will be the best game of the night to watch!  These teams really don't like each other and the refs know it so they may be calling it tight early and this gives a little advantage to Monmouth.  That Justin Robinson kid for Iona really knows how to score but I would think Monmouth has a game plan for him this time around!  Any Thoughts?

I see a reverse line movement.  I think the play is IONA + the points.
