"Computer line" is Cal -4. This is purely based on both teams' numbers from past performances. Many use it as a baseline, or sanity check.
Then, most shops did open the game at 4. Bettors have since bet Cal up to a 5.5 pt favorite..
So all things considered, I would say it's sort of "where it's supposed to be". Nothing fishy that I can see. If Cal doesn't cover I cannot see that it will be due to clever linemaking.

So I take Kansas -6.5 2nd half and towards the end when teams are trading baskets for fouls I have 7 point lead. With 20 seconds left Kansas who is up 8 fouls a 3 point shooter and gives him 3 free and I end up with an L by the hook. Luckily I bought out my garbage Arky pick with S. Carolina +7 2nd half.

yup..kansas cost me today, took both first half and full game. oh well moving on, more games to come!

I'm actually going against somebody here on the board. This is a TOURNEY game for Yale! The Ivy League DOES NOT have a year end conference tournament. The regular season champ gets the bid. Columbia gets nothing for winning this game besides being a spoiler. Columbia had three Confernce losses this year. To whom? You guessed it...the two teams tied for first right now. Columbia got swept both games by Princeton by identical scores...88-83. Columbia's first game versus Yale at Yale resulted in a 14 point loss 86-72. Yale and Princeton are the class of the Ivy! They will be meeting up next week in a one game playoff to see who represents the Ivy for tourney time after Yale knocks of Columbia!

Also the total of 139 seems to be really low for this game. The first matchup plated out at 158!! Columbia ran with Princeton in both games at 171 (even though Princeton doesn't have Yale's DEF). This game will probably be played in the 70's....$$$$ up OVER 139 also!!

The Aztecs are clearly the better team, and they’ll be at home in this one. The first time these two teams met up, the Aztecs beat the Rebels by 15 in Las Vegas. UNLV has been incredibly inconsistent this season, and I can’t trust them on the road. The Rebels have lost their last four away games, and they’ve dropped eight of their last nine road games. Those losses include some pretty embarrassing defeats. I like the San Diego Aztecs to win this one by double-digits, covering the spread at home on Saturday night.
