First off, gotta say I LOVE this thread.  It is the most productive and useful thread in all of Covers history in my honest opinion.

Gave you guys the Cal +6/7 play 2 nights ago and I believe they outplayed AZ that game.  Horrible officiating that game and a great performance by Gabe York allowed AZ to pull out the win.

Anyway, moving on.  I already see a lot of people posting Cal as their plays so nothing here that hasn't already been covered.  As soon as I saw this line though, I hammered it.

As I've documented before on this thread the books keep grossly underestimating the style of play of the Hoyas

Their average combined score is close to 144 and their last three games have been well over that #

They simply rely on hoisting up quick 3s and play extremely foul plagued Defense on the other side

Only drawback here is that the last game with Nova was a 55-50 affair on jan 16th which was the lowest total of the year

Nova is having Senior day and i think they will be amped up on this one.

Nova averages 140 tots for the season but their last 7 have been over the 142.5 figure.

Lock me up for another high scoring tilt and i will be parlaying this with the Tarwheels in the afternoon affair with my DOOKies.....GL

I picked Cal -3.5 with my book early this morning, got busy with the family and never got a chance to write it in as my $$$$ of the day.  I think, this is my 4th one of the week.  USC-Holmey can check.

Cal will definitely win by at least 10.  They have a better offense, a better defense and they have already beaten Ariz. St. 

Cal has won 11 in the conference and Ariz St. has won only 5.
They should have beaten Arizona.  They out played them and they will out play Arizona St. as well. 

So that's short and sweet. Cal all the way to the bank this time.

So my pick of the day, with my local book,  and my $$$$ is 
Cal-3.5.

Not an empty write up, but i gave my weak reasoning yesterday

UnC 0-4 on road vs top 50 teams
Duke 4-1 at home vs top 50 with close loss being to Pitt

This is just a feel bet as it is extremely hard to sweep this regular season series

Im a huge Duke Home, but they are so thin that i think they are wearing down a bit at the end of the season....see Pitt last Sunday and the struggle with Wake earlier in the week.

UNC getting stronger and healthier at right time.  UNC stinks at shooting and if Duke hits ridiculous amounts of 3s they beat anyone.   If they are mere mortals they lose this game.

Used to listen to Gottlieb a lot...If you can pass these on whenever you hear them it would be awesome. I was in LA all last week and am shocked in the growth of the this thread over the that time!! 

Thanks for all the work, Holmey.  Scary being an ND guy in USC country!!
