LEANING Lady Huskers pending shorter odds in live play...
Was all set to make a bet on Huskers when it was a 2 pt game after halftime hoping for a tie.....but Huskers promptly go on a 19 - 2 run and there goes my chance to make a bet on a cheap ml....

I knew starter JONES has been out for awhile but these two WAKE starters are a shock.

Close call tonight in Corvallis and difficult to judge because Badgers have only played much tougher opps than Beavers the past 6 weeks. They lost them all but SEVERAL were very close losses! Beavers have mixed results against teams of a similar calibre to Badgers, but do have the HCA.......

Now 9 ticks left, up 2 and they can ice secure the win by hitting these 2 FTs.......

UMBC WINNER!!
Ohio had their chances when refs fouled out the top 2 players of UMBC in late OT when only down 2....

UCLA is MORE THAN CAPABLE of blowing out their vastly inferior opponent tonight (Cal Bap) by a HUGE margin, in their 1 seed/16 seed matchup.....and they most certainly will, no doubt about it.
But I dunno they want to "run up the score" once they are comfortably leading by say +35 pts or so and in no danger of losing to a 16 seed that hasn't played anyone rated in the top 125 since before Christmas.
LADY Bruins have played 2 weak teams SINCE CHRISTMAS of roughly similar calibre to Cal Bap - beating NWU by 35 in Chicago and defeating Rutgers by 40 in LA.
In a one and done scenario, it would seem prudent dontchathink, for a wise coach to get the HUGE lead versus a woefully over-matched opponent, then empty the bench in the latter stages of the 3Q and rest your starters (reducing risk of injury as well) to prepare for the next and tougher opponent. Geno Auriema and UCONN did that earlier today (very wise!!!) easily winning their 1 seed vs/16 seed matchup by 38 pts (they were pregame favs of -55)....They led by 45 at the end of the 3Q (still 11 pts shy of covering a spread which is totally meaningless to them!) and could have easily pushed for silly "spread-cover glory" but opted to empty the bench... CLASS! Give the benchwarmers some playing time and reduce risk of injury in what could be another Championship run.
PLAYING on homecourt, if UCLA is equally wise and shows similar CLASS, they SHOULD do the same...But will they? And even if they do will their bench continue a massive beatdown on a much weaker/demoralized women's team? We shall see....But I think the game might very well play out like the UCONN game..........or at least, IT SHOULD!
Lady Lancers+52.5 -110 @FD *BB ... I would accept +51.5 as well

It looks tight in the 1stQ but BRUINS are like that sometimes against a much weaker opp they know they rout at any time....

If their pattern holds true, they will begin their rout in the 2Q and go up by a further 15+ or so in the 3Q.....the 4thQ is the question mark....

Yeeesh the Lady Bruins are having an off night! They actually performed WORSE in the 2Q than in the 1Q and lead just by 10 at HT......
They still win this game in a ROUT..... decisive push in 3Q coming up..... But if Cal Bap coach can keep the coals hot on the fire they may not lose by more than 30....
