Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) - Kansas junior guard Tyshawn Taylor was suspended indefinitely by head coach Bill Self on Monday for violating team rules.

Self would not divulge the specific nature of the transgression in a release issued by the school.

"Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition," Self said.

Taylor has started all but one of the Jayhawks' 27 games this season entering Monday's play and is averaging 8.8 points with 4.7 assists per contest.

just saw the highlights..suspect for sure. but i guess repeat offenses will only build a case. makes you wonder though, how often this happens in any given game.

PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE D1 PROGRAMS WORK THE KID IS DIRTY YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK AS A ATHLETE. THE KID COMES FROM A LESS FORTUNITE FAMILY WELL DOCUMENTED HOW IS HE GETTING NEW KICKS YOU DONT HAVE TO LOSE THE GAMES THE DOG JUST HAVE TO COVER
