Very nice day going 5-2 with 2 woofies early and late...8-4 overall in the Tourney.

Personal observation, the state of Texas had a very nice day with Houston, Texas AM and TCU winning.

1.Santa Clara  +130...scrappy Herb Sendak ( a UK asst for Pitino at UK from 1989-93) who came up as a 5 star camp coach faces the 'blue blood' UK and Mark Pope.

Pope is answering questions about the transfer recruitment of Yaxel Lendenbourg.

Pope is a nice, smart guy but he's prone to tripping over his 6'11 self and Sendak will put his leg out for the 'oops, I am sorry trip'.

Look for Steve Nash and Kurt Rambis in the stands because for Santa Clara, this is a Big Deal.

They have been on fire winning 10 in a row since Feb 13th...John Groce has enjoyed success there, at Illinois and at Ohio U.

Meanwhile, The Red Raiders, losers of 3 straight without Toppin and Anderson with some potential groin issue/discomfort ( making cuts) is supposed to cover 7.5.
