Yesterday at the end of my thread I said the St. Bonnie at VCU -10.5 line jumped out at me as being a few points too high ... and the assessment proved correct as Bonnies covered. I ultimately played it but did not make it a posted play.
Going to roll with this plan again to start 2026 and this time I will make it a posted play:
Nebraska-Omaha +9.5: Another battle of 2 teams projected to be among the top teams in the Summit. Omaha had a rough one at Oregon but before that were playing their best basketball of the season. I think the defending regular season champs come out on a mission as they open conference play at South Dakota State. The Jack Rabbits are not as strong as past seasons and also have a new head coach in Bryan Petersen. I think this is a tight game right to the end and it wouldn't shock me if the visitors snuck out of Brookings with a big outright win to open conference play. 0.75 units.
