I really didn't need to bring 5k in cash, if I was only making $110 wagers. Boy I must have expected to lose every game.
Second,,,,, I really hate and I mean hate for this place to beat me. My wife and myself try to leave here with more than we came with, my mother n law just goes crazy.
I may have to make one larger wager tonight, if I'm down. I don't want to leave behind. We come so often, I don't care if it's just $1, I want to be ahead.
We will see how the 3 day games go and then ill figure out my last night here.

Couple things I just thought about.

Let me say this, I've done extensive work with underdogs or plus money plays. I haven't messed with them in a couple months, I might dust off the cobwebs of The Daily Double.

The Tunica Challenge is complete.
Time to figure out whats next.

If I were to keep playing the high volume. I'd just work 2 hours before the first game starts. Get my Power Totals, turn the wagers in and forget it, until time to grade when the day is over.
Overall high volume for the Power Totals since October 13
(128-104) (55.17% Winners)
The Tunica Challenge is coming down to the last night and my question to continue or not is coming down to the wire.
Can I walk away from a model that can hit 55% Winners over 300 plays per month, against a (-110) avg line?

The 55% cant be ignored. I look for your thread every day. I dont play them all. I sometimes play a couple of them that i like. Sometimes i play none of them.
But i definitely enjoy seeing the success and following along.
Hope you continue to post your power totals journey.

I don't mind posting them, if I'm playing them but it is tedious.
Here is the best thing about playing the high volume. I just have to simply play everything, I don't have to make any decisions, think about anything, read anything, get any opinion, nothing. I don't have to worry about which plsy is stronger. U just have to play everything that qualifies and if the win percentage holds at 55% it would be worth it.
Here is the problem when u attempt to identify the strongest plsy or the 3 strongest plays. Its the difference in the sport.
How do u determine if a nhl play thats 1 goal off is stronger than an NBA total that's 8pts off or an NFL game that's 4pts off?
Thats the hard part. And that also involves me and I must make a decision. I try not to make a decision.

@TDHCentral Bama Gurl I don't think this high volume plays well on the forum, do you? It would be hard to follow and not many are interested in this many plays daily. This is probably better for me just to invest in and forget until the end of the day. I can bring something better to the forum. But 55% over 300 plays per month, can't be ignored, can it? @MITM
I think at 55%+ you can't ignore it. For those of us who play it really small it eventually works out. However, it IS a lot of plays (esp in CBB), and many may not want that high of volume, but I think that if offered, most will decide for themselves if they want to follow for a while to see how it does before they dip their toe in it. You get an awful lot of reads in your forum, so I think many are following than you may think, and just not posting!

Lost a little juice, but overall, pretty even. I'm thinking it might improve as they get into more games in the CBB. I couldn't get the Vermont game today, as I slept in. I still think you're on to something. Just my 2 cents..

Good morning Falcon, you gave it a shot and you didn’t get hurt , I like the idea of the Grand challenge if it’s one top play for the day , it’s slow and steady much like the Chase which you did well in, if we didn’t have to chase and adjusted our bank as we played we would probably be profitable, to many games gives them the edge. Thank you for your work!
Have a safe ride home!

The Grand Challenge will be perfect this time of year (Holiday Season), as it's slow paced.
I'm thinking of trying it and committing to at least 25 plays. Kind of evaluate it every 25 plays.
I love the format, it is one at a time. And u were correct in how u described it.
If I do it ,,,,, ill do it exactly as its called for but ill also be wagering on the side as the plays at the start are very small (for me).
Ill probably do it in this forum (CBB) as I would expect alot of plays to come from college basketball.
One thing, if I do this, my plays will come from my 2 models. The Power Totals model but I also have a Power Numbers model. I would want both to be involved.
More later on all this when I open the thread soon.
