To those that said "VTech always plays Duke close", where are you seeing that? In their last 6 VTech has one win (last year), 4 of the other 5 were Duke DD wins and the other was a 7pt win. Not that any of that matters, since the teams are not the same. But VTech last year was MUCH more competitive, and despite the fact that Duke is not as dominant as years past, they should have no issue winning this by 10+.

If you want to know when to bet against Duke this year here's the answer key - teams with high offensive efficiency or elite athleticism at the 1 and 2 spots. Just go through their losses -
OSU - AdjO 14 and elite back court and home court = blowout of embarrassing proportions.
Temple - AdjO 23 and no answer for Temple's backcourt especially Wyatt
FSU - the definition of elite athelticism and their AdjO is actually now down to 84 when it was 184 less than a month ago.
Problem is VTech doesn't have nearly good enough offense or defense. Their 3point defense number is HUGELY inflated. It's 25% for all games, but it's closer to 32% for conference games and ranks near the bottom in a really bad ACC. And the fatal blow for VTech is they can't exploit Duke's issues nearly as bad as other teams - Duke's defense is ATROCIOUS the worst it's been in maybe 15 years sans watching Greg Paulus trying to defend Eric Maynor (sigh), but VTech's offense isn't nearly good enough to really hurt Duke's deficiencies.
At -3 this line was a HUGE mistake and the line movement quick and fast proves that and I pounded that all last night. At 5.5 I think you might still be safe, but 6 points on the road with a poor defense is getting to the "too many" range. If you buy points, buy them in Duke's direction, if you're going to play a ML, play Duke. VTech has lost 3 in a row at home, Blacksburg isn't what it was last year. Duke puts the final nail in the coffin of VTech's season.
