No Oakland? Pitt might be the biggest fraud in the whole conference. Love seeing the Big East struggle though, there's so much love on here for that conference it's ridiculous. The've got quantity on other conferences, not quality. I do like WVU though (not ATS today, but to make a run in the tourney).

I just haven't seen enough of Oakland to have any thoughts or opinions on this game. I know Pitt is a huge fraud, but at least they have athletes. I have them losing next round to the X-Men

You know im on your duke bandwagon, i have them in the natl title game against cuse but i got ripped in that thread a few days ago for backing an "overrated duke and crap acc". This is a dumb argument against the big east when all of the conferences are mediocre

And you didnt respond to my point. I picked and backed duke and all i got was how overrated they were and the acc was. I doesnt matter what happened in this first weekend. I mean shit happens. Ohio shot 10,000 % it was absurd. Did you base washington vs marquette on conferences? If so than that was dumb because washington has better players which is how i predict games not by what conference they play in. I mean i have some acc teams winning but that doesnt mean shit. I dont know anyone that thinks any conference is strong. None

The bottom line is the ACC has a LOSING record vs the ACC a LOSING record vs the Big 10... and they all "beat up on eachother" in conference which is how they obtain their rankings. Marquette lost to NC State... COME ON A #6 SEED?!? It is so overinflated. We will see what happens today...

The conferences are mediocre. This forum is always all over the Big East's nuts, they're just like other conferences, good teams at the top, bad teams at the bottom. Some years, the ACC is the best, some years the Pac 10 is the best, etc. But there is so much Big East love, that when they don't live up to expectations in the NCAAB tournament (which is when it really matters), they're gonna get bashed. It was 1 entire day of bad Big East basketball, that's a good sample size to make a judement off of. I couldn't care less what those teams did in the regular season, right now is what matters, and right now, the Big East doesn't look very good. I'm a Big Ten guy, we're not the best conference, we're good, but not the best, we're mediocre. If the Big Ten goes 1-4 today, I will admit that we're not very good. This is what matters, this tournament.

You are never wrong, and always right I do back Duke as well, just have no interest in betting on one seeds with huge spreads in the opening round. I have Duke in the NCAA finals... so don't tell me I don't back them...
