packers - Some crazy numbers in the OVC, but I don't see anything but chalk in that one. Maybe I toss $20 at someone just for fun, but I can't even come up with who that would be. I'm not too high on Belmont winning the ASun. Thanks for posting, keep em coming
Leans : Mercer to win ASun +150
I figure this is better than the number they will see in the finals if they play Belmont given the home court edge. I'd guess a +120 at best, so the +150 is slightly enticing. Even more so if Belmont doesn't get to the finals and they do.

Atlantic Sun Future : Mercer +150 (3 units to win 4.5)
While I fully agree Belmont is the best team in this conference, I think we all know by now the best team doesn't always win their conference tournament. With Mercer playing at home, this tournament just sets up nicely for them to knock off the mighty Bruins. The two played twice in the regular season, with Belmont winning by 1 @ Mercer and by 4 at home. Mercer has proven they can compete with Belmont at their pace as well as at Belmont's pace. Very difficult (so some people say) to beat a team thrice in one year and I think Mercer has an easier path to the finals than Belmont. Both should get there and if they do I love the value of +150.

West Coast
I am very much looking forward to this tournament. WCC, Mountain West, CAA and the Valley (I might have left some out) are all ones I seem more excited than the Power conferences. I truly hope this goes to form as the potential semifinal matchups of LMU vs. St Mary's and Gonzaga vs. BYU has the makings of excpetional basketball games. The Zags and Gaels have alternated winning the WCC the last three years, so if that held up it would be St. Mary's turn for the automatic bid. Conveniently enough they are favored, but the +125 price should indicate how competitive this tournament is likely to be. I think all four of the top seeds can win this tournament, and while I think San Francisco is a solid team, I don't think they have enough to run the table in Nevada. The top 4 team are all dangerous and capacble of going very deep in the Big Dance. They all have quality losses, for the most part, with the exception of Mary's @ Denver, and a few blemishes by LMU, which were bad.
Predicted Winner : Brigham Young +400
The new kid on the block and surely Mary's and the Zags won't want the rookie to win in their first WCC tournament. BYU fans travel and they won't have to go far to hit Paradise Nevada. I like how they are lined up with Gonzaga as I think they are more capacble of handling the Zags than the Gaels. I love the +400 value as I think you're getting the Cougars in the semis, and the MLs they'll see collectively will come in under the +400.
Darkhorse : Loyola Marymount +2500
Deep down I'm not convinced they can string together three straight against SF, St Mary's and either BYU or Gonzaga. I think they have the talent to do so, and I'm likely to take a crack at them either as a future, but I'm not confident they can do it. This team is good, real good, but they are still the 4th best team in the conference, so tall order for sure.
Potential Upsets : Santa Clara over Portland

I won't go too in depth on this one, but one of the few conferences to this point where I think chalk runs the table. Stony Brook lost by two last year as a #5 seed after knocking off the favorite Vermont. The year prior they got beat as the #1 seed. The team this year is real solid, and better than the previous two years. Sicne 2004, the higher seed, who gets home court for the finals, has won all but one of the automatic bids. I don't see anyone getting in Stony Brook's way to the finals, and there, with a home game, I don't see them being denied.
Predicted Winner : Stony Brook -150
Darkhorse : Boston +500
Sure, they have beaten Stony Brook this year, but I honestly don't think even at +500 this is worth a shot. I don't see them stringing b2b wins against Vermont than on the road @ Stony Brook.
Potential Upsets : Nothing noteworthy

packers - If I had to pick a darkhorse I'd take Albany, but don't see them getting past Stony Brook. Some good value though to take a shot.
Lots to get to before the games, so going to fire the rest of the conferences out now..

Arch Madness
This obviously kicked off yesterday, but things went to form, so going to drop some thoughts on the Valley. This tournament puts out year after year and this one should be no different. Two teams are signed and sealed into the Dance, but there is potential for someone to burst the bubble of a power conference team. Either way, this tourney should continue to entertain. I think Drake gives Creighton a good run today, still unsure if they can win, but certainly potential. I see much of the board is high on Northern Iowa and Evansville, and I'm actually opposite both of those teams. I'll discuss the individual matchups more in my Friday thread
Predicted Winner: Wichita State
Darkhorse : Missouri State
I think both Evansville and Northern Iowa can make deep runs in this tournament, but I see the same with Missouri State. This is a team that feels they got burned by the committee last year. While everyone is playing with a sense of urgency, Missouri State might have a little monkey on their back they are looking to bury.

Southern
Quite a distinction between the North and South divisions of the Southern conference as the South has four teams with above .500 conference records compared to only one for the North. This tournament could be a real mess, but don't let the seeding throw you off as teams playing today are in fact better than teams with byes into tomorrow. I don't think either of the top two seeds in the upper half of the bracket make it to the finals and I'll say at least one (but very possiblly both) goes down in the semis. On the lower half, Davidson should make its way to the finals, but it won't be easy. They'll face some inconsistent teams along the way, but also teams who have talent, and in a lose or go home format, talent has potential to go a long way.
Predicted Winner: Davidson (though no way I take them as I think there is great value elsewhere)
Darkhorse: Western Carolina
I could have gone a few teams here, but I'll stick with the Catamounts. I could argue that they are the best team in the North despite conference record, and there draw sets up nicely as I'm not high on UNCG or Wofford. They have won 5 in a row, so while that might mean they are due for a letdown, I'll buy into that they are finally clicking at the right time. They may not have enough firepower to win this, but the potential is there and the value greatly exceeds that potential.
Potential Upsets: CofC/Ap State over UNCG, Western Carolina over Wofford, Chatt over Ga South and Elon

You've been possibly the biggest Stags supporter throughout the year, Spaz, and you have to be quite thrilled to be getting 'em @ +600
I think they meet Iona in the final...

GiLmo - thanks buddy, appreciate it. I knew you'd like that Stag future. Unfortunately, their loss last time out trapped them on Iona's side of the bracket, so they can only meet in the semis. I think the winner of that game gets the automatic bid. Iona is so good and they should be in the field, but sometimes the ball doesn't always bounce how it should
I see nothing on the Sun Belt Tournament yet, Spazzer...
Assuming because Middle Tenn State is a clear favorite, and the odds aren't tasty enough to dabble in.
I like these Blue Raiders, a lot, and thinking they'll be one of those #12, #13, #14 seeds that make some healthy noise and into the Sweet 16.
