Clemson hits 2 FTs to go up 4 with 3 secs left. Stanford calls TO to “talk about it”.
They have to go the length of the court.
Inbound the ball and the Stanford player just races down the court and instead of launching a 3 or seeing if Clemson will even contest a 3 point shot he just lays in an uncontested layup right at the buzzer.
Clemson wins by 2. Stanford covers.
Wonder what was said in that huddle during the TO. 99.9 percent of the time the player launches a 3.
Crazy.
Hope everyone had a good night! Keep grindin! Weird stuff happening late in these games today.

Yup. Had that happen to me the other day. Had live Under. Losing team is down double digits. Some jackass on the losing team takes the ball and runs in a layup and it gets me by the hook

It was just the TO being called that threw me off.
It’s not like the coach drew up a play to maybe launch the ball from the baseline to preserve time and get a 3 point look or something.
Just in bounded the ball and ran up the court straight into a layup at the buzzer that should’ve meant nothing to them.
If the coach didn’t call TO and after the free throw the player just did that on his own I wouldn’t have thought anything of it. I just was expecting a play or something. They hit a 3 there it’s a bad beat…..That was a weird beat

I had Stanford +3.5 and was praying for a missed free throw when it was Clemson by 2. Then the guy goes down and shoots the 2. Got pretty lucky there to be sure.
