1st play is:

Tennessee  -2 (-120) for 40 units... I think Bruce Pearl should get his team playing better ball on offense this time around. Their defense is superb and will keep them in almost any game. Teams with great defense are the teams you want to back in tourneys so I willl back Tenn here in this spot knowing they got exposed yesterday even though they won the game. Strong play on the Vols...

I wanted to back Illinios today but then i noticed these 4 losses on Neutral courts:

11/27/09 Utah (N) L 58-60

11/28/09 @ Bradley (N) L 68-72

12/19/09 @ Georgia (N) L 67-70 

01/02/10 Gonzaga (N) L 83-85 (OT)

Those losses should raise a red flag for any Illinios backer today maybe the spread will keep dropping and i can now jump on wisky. Illinios has stayed steady all season while Wisky hit a bump in the road with the injury to Jon Leuer  earlier this season but the badgers are playing some of the best ball right now than all season. Be carefull with Illinios today i might even play Wisky now just waiting on the line to drop some more...

2nd play is:

Texas-El Paso  -3 for 40 units... I hope this play isnt as easy as it looks. One thing that helped me make this pick today is Tulsa will be playing their 3rd game in a row while UTEP broke no sweat yesterday beating UCF. So I will back the best team in C-USA laying a small number against a team they have already handled twice this season and on top of that Tulsa is just 3-12-1ats in their 16 games overall. Strong play on the Miners today...

3rd play is:

Northwestern +8.5 for 20 units... The points in this matchup to me are very valued as both teams have been know to show up in big games. If Robbie Hummel purdue's excellent mid-range shooter was not injured this may have been a different story but with out him Purdue will and should struggle in the important games from here on out. Medium play in the Wildcats plus the points today...

4th play is:

Michigan St  ML -150 for 40 units... Although I think that State will cover the spread here in this game I feel much more comfortable backing them to just win the game as Tom Izzo will not let this team lose to Minny as State has won their last 8 meetings against Minny. With Kalin Lucas in their running the show and Raymar Morgan along side Minny will be in trouble today in this one. Very Strong play on the Spartans today on the ML to win the game...

5th play is:

Wisconsin  1st half -4 for 20 units... Just got this one at my Local online credit book (it's -4.5 (-105) at Bookmaker right now). Jon Leuer  has gotten considerably better in each game he has played since his return and that alone has me thinking they should handle Illinios today but just to be safe i'll bet the 1st half to avoid a possible back door. Medium play on wisky 1st half today...
