YESTERDAY: 3-0, +4.25 units

Nice 3-0 yesterday. It's about time!

VIRGINIA -7 (1.75 UNITS) - Am I missing missing something here as I have it at UVA -12.5 and it's Oregon's first road game of the year about 2500 miles across the country.

ELON -3.5 (1.5 UNITS)

Game --

For what it's worth, the Ducks have been in Virgnia since Wednesday (they practiced there yesterday) and it's not really an untraditional or early start time for a team traveling west-to east.

With that being said, from an x's and o's standpoint the game appears to be a mismatch. I just don't think travel will have anything to do with the outcome.

Hey D-T!

I agree the line is very suspicious as my lines usually aren't this far off. I have followed Oregon very closely and they are not very good! Their record is very misleading and every game so far has been a home game. I think this is a tough trip for them against an improving UVA team. My only concern is UVA has been off 10 days which sometimes means a slow start but UVA is way more than 2 points better than Oregon on a neutral court.

Hey Pinny!
I still see it as a tough trip away from home. This Oregon team is held together by scotch tape and rubber bands. They lost a bunch of players this summer, have a very thin frontline, have not yet traveled away from home for a road game and I am not sure the chemistry is there.  They are completely out of their comfort zone as far as time zones, hotels and now a low level Pac 10 team against an improving ACC team. I am a value bettor and as mentioned above, there is no way in my opinion that UVA is only 2 points better on a neutral court. I hae my own power rating system and have UVA at 88.5 and Oregon at 80 and I conservatively gave UVA 4 for homecorut when I probably should give them 5. Therefore my line is UVA -12.5 to -13.5.

i like Oregon but i'm not playing it cuz of the travel and supposedly they're pretty banged up (although my injury reports don't have much to speak on)

what book do you use D-town? On pinnacle the line opened at 7.5 and has went up to 8.

My homecourt ratings range from 2 to 7 with 3-5 being most common and 2and 7 being very rare. I give this 4 although I could easily make it 5 due to the lengthy travel for the Ducks, time of game and fact that it is their first road game of the year.

I can agree with what your saying game, however, I just dont think the Wahoos are a team that should be laying this much to most teams.
