If you can handle betting only what you can see on paper..then go for it! i like to see them play preferably!

Honestly getting the games without seeing the Lines or teams rankings would be ideal....the more clutter i have about games on teams i know..the worse...I used to try and visualize the score on the ESPN ticker....now i just type the games i know about out...come back later...and make predicitons..nothing more man!!
Stage 2 i look at the lines and decide which games i think have the most likely outcome; and make plays on that
