The favorite covers all 4 of the Elite 8 games. I know that each game is independent from the others, but it sure seems like the favorites in today's matchups have major advantages over their opponents.
Davidson v Kansas
I mean besides Curry Davidson doesn't have a player that would even make the Kansas roster and I bet Curry would have to come off the bench.
Texas v Memphis
Just look at this tournament and the games Texas has played. Round 1 easy winner, Round 2 the legs started getting tired and they almost let Miami beat them, Round 3 domination over a team without any perimeter game. Memphis has lost 1 game this year and it was an in state rivalry game. Texas lost to Wisconsin on their home floor.
It just seems to me that both favorites should win and cover today, but to me it doesn't seem right that all 4 favorites in the Elite 8 cover the spread.

Texas got beat by Michigan State and State got their rears kicked in by Memphis.
I think its gonna be the same story of Memphis being bigger than Texas. Being able to shoot over them, and win by 6-8. Texas will hang in there, but Memphis is on a mission.

all teams match up differently against each other.....those wins/losses against a common opponent don't mean a thing.
I personally think these teams match up pretty well against each other at all positions, so I expect it to be a tough matchup as the line suggests. I don't think energy will be a factor considering they are all playing in the biggest games of their lives.
I lean UT but best of luck||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

Texas got hammered in the Big 12 title game by who.....that's right Kansas. I live in Big Twelve country so I see a ton of their games. The Longhorns got smoked by Missouri and Texas A&m. Just watch Memphis break their will at some point in the game and they will quit. Just watch.

Furthermore, their win over Kansas was when KU was going through the motions until the tournaments started. And if memory serves correctly it was a close game the whole way through. The win over Stanford in their last game was against a team with great inside play and basically "ZERO" perimeter play.

Kobie every Texas game you are eluding too that they lost was a road game. This is not a road game for them. texas got beat by Michigan State on the road in Detroit. A lot diffferent than today. ||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>

Im not even sure yet on the side. I would like to take Texas but just not sure at this point because if Memphis is getting good shots and defending like they did last game this will be a very tough game for Texas to win. Memphis has tremendous size at that guard position which could make it difficult.

Sure Stanford has 2 7 footers but Dorsey & Dozier are much stronger. If they don't get into foul trouble Texas will have a tougher time with them than they did with Stanford's Twin Towers.

Well 3 down one more to go. Can Kansas cover? I believe they win, but I have to put a little money on Davidson just out of principle. Good luck everyone.
