It's a bit of a stretch to say that Northridge is in a major market. The valley isnt exactly Los Angeles.
Gosh, I only spent the first 25 years of my life living all over LA County. Last I checked the Valley is in the LA market. And, if you want to get snarky, the vast majority of the Valley lies within the borders of the city of LA, including Northridge.
